Thanks - I am back at full strength, even rode 40mins on my bike today. I appreciate the words/experience. I took it easy up until day 9 and then started slowly working out and increasing a bit each day. Still get sore even now, but it's totally tolerable and I am not experiencing any swelling.

So today woke up feeling no pain at all. Went about my day as usual (doc said I could) - however, cutting out workout - by 3p I was sore and back on the couch. Gonna take a week off, at least. you can achieve a cardio style workout (intervals) but measuring and watching your heart rate. During the exercise it should go up and then you should allow it to come back down into the 130s (provided your getting above 145 during exercise) - this does have an interval cardio training effect.
