Are you tracking everything you eat and making sure you stay under your calories? That's the only thing you should need to do. Working out and walking help, but tracking calories is where it is. I personally am not doing anything with food except tracking it and I am slowly losing. I also walk every day and barely sit down…

Feel free to add me. I love having motivated friends posting things on my feed. I post regularly too.

I am on day 7 right now. I walk or go to the gym every morning before work. I feel more energy this week than I have the past few months. I call that a victory for me.

I'm getting back into MFP (again) and would always love more friends to help motivate me!

That sounds exactly like my knee problems. I don't over do it by running or cycling. It isn't worth it to me to mess it up worse.
-
You are doing great! Keep it up! Its not that good to lose more than 1-2 pounds a week unless your doctor says otherwise.
-
I was in the habit of going on a walk every morning with my dog. But then I started skipping here and there. Starting today, I will be back at it EVERY morning. It will be wonderful!
-
I also don't count that. Most of my marinades are low calorie anyways, so it wouldn't make much of a difference.

I use the term cheat days. Personally, I think if you are upset that people are using terms such as this, you may need to figure out why you are upset about that. It does nothing to you. You can still follow your calorie goal and do your own thing. Why does it bother you so much that someone says they had a cheat meal or…

I use fitbit. My step goal was 10,000. But once I started getting that every single day, I upped it to 12,000. I get that maybe 75% of the time, but I still get above 10,000 almost all days. It motivates me to move more at night if I am close to my goal. For instance, let's say I am at 11,000 and I want to relax for the…

I do quite a bit of freezer cooking and I agree with the double wrapping. Usually if it is a solid food (like a pizza I want to freeze) I wrap it in plastic wrap first, followed by foil. Make sure there is little to no air. Also, research whether the ingredients freeze well or not before you try it.

When I make a stir fry I usually add a large mix of sauces/spices. I don't have a specific recipe I follow. But I have put peanut butter in them before, and that tastes really good!
-
When you really want those foods and you don't want to waste the calories just remind yourself why you are doing this. Everyone has a million reasons why you are tracking food and working out. Reminding myself helps me a lot. That way I have more motivation.
-
I do every day. I personally like knowing on a daily basis. Plus I like the graph to see the previous week/month and see what direction the weight is going.

My biggest pet peeve is when there is someone just chilling so close to a machine that I cannot use it. There is a lobby in my gym, use it if you aren't working out!
-
I would highly recommend you keep trying various ways to cook some of the stuff you don't like. I used to also not eat any type of fish aside from shrimp. But I could tolerate tilapia because it isn't as "fishy" as others. I season it with lemon pepper seasoning and bake it. I kept having to force myself to try that (same…

Personally, I allow myself to go over my calories twice a week, so I would let it slide.
-
This is exactly what it feels like when it pops out of place or dislocates. When it happens to me, I have to physically put my knee cap back.
-
My knees pop out of place easily and also are extra prone to dislocation. I have had to go to physical therapy multiple times for this and they tend to give me similar exercises to do. In my case, my knees pop out of place because 1) all my joints are extra flexible 2) my knee caps are to the side of where they should be…

I personally keep up with it because I remind myself that when I reach my goal, it will all be worth it. Every step, every log of food. When it is hard to work out I tell myself out loud why I am doing this. I tell myself all of the reasons I started logging food and working out. This usually motivates me.
-
I added you! Anyone else can feel free to add me as well. I LOVE adding friends to help encourage me and I love to help encourage others!
