My solution was to just suck it up and work through the cravings. In time, they stopped. Fasting also helped train my mind to resist hunger cravings. Good Luck! :)

Being fat is not your problem but merely a symptom of the problem. While liposuction can suck out some fat, it won't address the problem that made you fat, so yes, you'll regain the weight like most who seek the quick fix. Your problem is a bad diet and lack of exercise, and the solution is proper diet and smart regular…

I enjoy early mornings, so that's optimal for me.

I cut out most grains apart from home baked stuff in moderation. No pastas, breads, rice, corn or any types of candy. Also, I quit drinking soda, booze and pasteurized fruit juices. My diet includes fresh fruits and veggies, nuts, whole eggs, meats and raw, unpasteurized dairy products. And I never have any issues with…

I am not eating out and ordering foods that aren't fabulous. I'd rather just pack my own healthy stuff and save the money.

Early in my journey, I enjoyed the WW meals but eventually gravitated toward MFP and a mostly whole foods diet.

Same here - 0.4 pounds lost....and I know, because I weigh everything! :)

WOOT WOOT! Keep up the great efforts... :)

When my calories are off, eating unclean and carbs rise above 40% of overall food intake, I get unsound cravings. Smart people argue and debate the sugar/clean eating thing, so who knows? All I know is that when my diet is clean, calories right and macro's properly balanced, I seldom feel that way. Good luck to you, and…

Just get bacon but also feed some to the pet pig. If he eats the bacon, it's all good! :)

People speak truth, and it hurts. If they're not saying it, they're most all thinking it. Just focus on your goals and forgive people for just being people. They'll never change, but you can change. Good Luck - <3

I could never work in a place selling junk food, because I'd end up stuffing my face like it's my final night on death row. Good luck to you though...

Friends began noticing after 30 pounds gone, and after 50 pounds gone, they began asking for advice to discover my "secret". They did not like my answers...lol Clean, smart eating and hard, regular exercise. The people herd hates those words. After 75 pounds lost, friends began drifting away to be replaced by others on the…

My first go to place was BMI range for healthy weight. And I was 110 pounds over that - ouch! As I struggled with a number, my mind went through all the delusional excuses about why I should not strive for my ideal top weight. At day's end, I settled for a number about 10 pounds over the top range to account for muscle…

Wow, 85 pounds - great job! The next challenge is keeping that off. I was on track to lose 102 pounds over about 54 weeks, and 3 months before reaching the objective, I set new specific goals in weight maintenance related to strength gains and fat loss. Goals are the keys to success and potential in every area of life, and…

Step one...join the USMC.... That's it! B) Seriously, some of us are just wired to be sleeping by 930p....and up at 4am. You just do it, and it time, your body and mind adapt and make this normal.

It took me twice that long to lose 80 pounds.

haha - I used to do that when my wife started cooking "healthy" dinners to help me lose the lard. "I don't understand why Rob's not losing weight; he eats very healthy"... >:) I just said it was my "genetics" like most weaklings too gluttonous to face reality. I am so glad she did not give up on me. I finally got it, and…

The only consolation you have is being part of the majority who give up on themselves. You are now part of that herd. ...or maybe not... It could just be that you're discouraged, and we've all been there. This is not easy. You must believe in yourself and have dedication and pride - and never quit. This is how a winner…

Planet Fitness is a great place for the right people. It's the equivalent of riding a tricycle, and I remember my tricycle and loved it...and then I turned age 3. It was time to move up to training wheels.

In general this is a myth, but.... Anybody else have night cravings? It stinks to do well all day only to blow out the diet at 10pm.

It took me about 4 months to feel comfortable in weight maintenance. I was used to logging in that progressive climb to the ultimate goal of 178 pounds, and once I reached it, everything felt strange. 100 pounds gone - OK, now what??? My mind was programmed for so long to lose weight that I actually missed it, but with new…

Well said! About 6 months before reaching my goal weight, I wrote out new goals in weight maintenance that began the very day I hit that coveted 180 pounds. That was 5 years ago. Each year I inch my body fat down which has been slow, steady progress. Day one at 180 pounds was just another day....and I bought all new…

I am not into peeves, but when guys do not rack their weights, my blood boils. I have gotten into fist fights over this which is absurd. Now, I just walk up to the offender and say, "hey, you want me to rack your weights"" That usually moves them to action, and a few actually reply "yes, thanks"..lol And I just go rack…

My macro estimates are: LIFT/HIIT Days: Protein-20%, Carb-50%, Fat-30% Lite Aerobic Days: Protein-50%, Carb-20%, Fat-30% My results in weight maintenance has been SLOW but steady... This is hardly an exact science, and I have been told by bodybuilders that bulking/cutting is much more effective. Maybe your results will…
