From northern Alberta. I loss 70 lbs here before, and then I gained it all back. Looking for accountability friends.

Wow!!! Nice transformation. About 20lb loss every 45 days, very consistent.

I look at the success stories. I creep on members stories until I find someone I can relate to. Reading and seeing results of someone gives me my motivation.

I wish I had lost weight before my wedding. Now I want to redo all of our pics. You shouldn't have a problem losing 60lbs healthily in 12 months. Set your weight loss around 1.5 pounds per week and start accurately recording everything that you eat and drink. Make yourself accountable, if you go over one day, no problem…

Dude, gout sucks. I've stopped drinking for about 1.5 years (still have an occasional beer) because of a gout attack that lasted over a month. Obviously alcohol was a big trigger for me cause now when i feel the slighestest pain, I take a pill and I'm good for a few months. I've lost 80lbs so far and still have quite a bit…

Verlaine01, you made my wife and I laugh. We live in northern alberta and finding fruit that doesn't go bad in a couple days is always a challenge.
-
Yeah dude!
-
Wow!!! Hats off to you sir. Thanks for sharing your story.

I had a son. We watch what we feed him, only healthy beneficial foods. Why was it okay for me to eat crap food and huge portions? Bottom line is that I didn't want to teach him all my bad eating habits.

North of Grande Prairie. Add me if you'd like

I don't know, you look like you are having way more fun in the left picture. On the beach, enjoying the sun versus dress pants on the right. Hahaha. But seriously, this is great motivation cause I started at 275 and currently at 205. Started with myfitnespal a couple months ago and it is way better than just winging it.
-
Right on! Thanks for the motivation.

Impressive!!!

We get free food at meetings all the time, none of it is healthy. When people make fun of my eating, I just join in and make fun of myself. I might even act like a rabbit while eating my vegetables. It's all fun and games, most people are not trying to be mean. Relax, enjoy life.

Good Luck Rob!!!!!

You can look at my diary. Don't think you can see others nutrition nor macros
-
Hey guys. I was 275, now I'm down to 220. Still have about 50 to go. I need friends. Add me
-
Congrats on your weight loss.
-
It must be tough to talk about it. There seem to be a lot of good people on mfp who want to see others succeed. I hope your recovery goes well.
-
Thanks for the advice. ☺

When I hear "intentionally awkward", I think Micheal Scott from the office.

Hi. I'm 32 and I am a new father. Need to lose weight and get fit. For some reason it's not letting me add you. Try adding me.
-
"Intentionally awkward", hahahaha. I like that.

I used to weigh 275. I'm currently around 226. I still have about 60 to lose. I'm really watching my sodium and added sugar.
-
You can add me. I've just started but I'm determined. Have 65 pounds to lose and need to drop my blood pressure.
-
Hi. You can add me. I've got 65 pounds to lose. Looking to change my life to a healthy lifestyle.
-
Hey, I'll add you. I'm 32, obese, and high blood pressure. I recently slowed/stopped eating processed meats, and most everything with added sugar. I currently make all my own food.

I made a veggie chilli (trying to cut calories) today. Boiled tomatoes from my garden (canned have a lot of sodium), garlic, onions, green peppers, corn, broccoli, cauliflower, kidney beans, black beans, Chipotle peppers. I made enough to freeze for future lunches. If you boil fresh tomatoes, you have take out a lot of the…

I'm also 32 and overweight with high blood pressure. I'm currently trying to lower my sodium intake but it's really hard. I now cook all my own food. I only go to restaurants with nutritional info on a website and pick out what i want (have) to eat before I leave the house.
