Thanks for all the info @jaroby. I will go and read up on that. It only makes sense when a Dr wants to treat the whole patient instead of just the symptoms.

Get back into the 170's where I was just before Thanksgiving. Only 5 lbs to go. Then on to the next 60 in 10 lb increments. I want to get off my high BP meds when I go back to the Dr in October

I went to the Dr yesterday...last visit was 6 months ago. I have been trying to maintain before I lose any more and I only put on 4.2 lbs not the 7 I thought BUT my A1C is at 5.7 now and he is taking me off Metformin! I'm so excited. Now I'm motivated to lose again so I can get off my high BP meds. I want to thank everyone…

My 3x and 2x pajamas are way too big so I ordered a new pair from Amazon in a size L .... and they fit! I thought I'd order the L instead of XL just to keep me motivated .... now I'm motivated to get to a M!

I would like to lose 3.5 lbs by the time I go to the Dr on the 27th. I need to increase my "move more" because I've been slacking

I'm 61 and started in April. As of this morning, I've lost 66 pounds thanks to logging everything into MFP and my Garmin Vivofit2. Eat less, move more, log everything, and be committed and convinced that you can do this.
