I am so sorry for your loss— I can imagine how overwhelming this must be. My only advice would be to go see a therapist if you’re able. My mother and brother both unexpectedly passed away within 5 months of each other, and talking to a therapist helped me move through my grief. Be kind to yourself.

Stupid question— but does “eating 1200” mean net calories or calories overall? My goal is set about 1350— I consistently eat that and maybe a little over, but with exercise I most often net under 1200 each day. Should I still at least be netting 1200 every day?
