If stuff hurts I would go to the doc and change your diet first. Add exercise little by little. My experience is losing weight is mostly diet. Once your diet is in check then start adding whatever exercise you like. I like weights, so I lift. But that's just me. I really didn't have pain starting off. But I was obviously…

Actually it was almost 5 months, but yea pretty much. As the calories have gone up and weight has gone down, the rate has come down too, obviously. I'm averaging around 2-2.5/week now, which I am pretty happy about. no loss of energy, no hair loss, etc. I attribute that to keeping my protein being higher than most on VLCD,…

oh it should be noted I started at 400lbs. was prescribed VLCD and am currently and carefully upping my calories little by little as time goes on.

my food diary is open if you wanna see... I drink lots of water. about a half gallon of clear water and about a half gallon in misc liquids. I do 20:4 IF because it works for me. I'm at 111lbs lost. hit 100lbs on 4/24. Started the first of the year. So far so good. I still track my food daily, along with workouts. Not at maintenance weight yet, but I'm sure I'll continue to log everything. It's been a heckuva ride, that's for sure...
