  • lol I can relate . I haven’t had that issue before either , or any hand issue . What do you usually do for yours that’s similar ? Do you ice it or apply heat ? It could be, I looked at my hand positions today to see how I gripped the bar . But when I deadlift it never touches that area . I was squatting without a squat…
  • Does it go away eventually or do you ice it or anything ? Mines is a little puffy . And yea it’s not to that point either , I mean I can still use my hands . That could be it , the DOMS , but I never had pain or soreness in my hand to compare it . And I was wearing gloves , I don’t know if they are the best ones to have .…
  • No , I mean it wasn’t hurting before that and it’s both hands . I was squatting without a rack though , raising it over my head and I went up in weight . I could lift that amount of weight, but it was hard to keep raising it over my head . I don’t know if that did it , maybe I shouldn’t have went up in weight
  • Forget to mention I was doing squats without a squat rack . So I would have to raise the bar over my head . It was fine til I added more weight . I don’t know if that was the cause of it . It is kinda puffy / swollen in that area too.
  • Current weight is 142
  • I thought of slowing going up with the calories like adding 100 cals , and seeing if I start to maintain if not keep going up on the calories .
  • Will it make a huge difference?
  • Thanks for replying. I know it may not matter but what brand food scale do you use ?
