You don't need a heart rate monitor to lose weight. Only if your just trying to track exercise....but I use the polar ft4 heart rate monitor. I like it. It's simple and does what I need it to do

I'm in the same boat, only my son is almost 2. I'm 5'4 and was 200 pounds when pregnant. I only got down to 179 after having him and I've maintained that until now! I'm down to 162 as of now and my goal is about 130 pounds! Feel free to add me

hi I'm 25 and I've been logging for about a month. My goal is to lose 50 pounds and I'm already 17 down! Add me if you like. I have an open diary but I will warn you.....I eat the best meals..ha ha

wow! You look great! Looks more like 30 pounds. Where do I sign up for weight lifting lol. I've lost almost 20 and barely see a difference

I noticed that when it happens if I press down on the spot it feels better

thanks for all the great advice. I'll probably go running again later and try these techniques
-
Thanks for the help. I will slow it down

How are you calculating the calories burned? Are you using a heart rate monitor or just the read out from the machines?
-
Ok. Well I switched to 1 pound a week and got 1360. I just often feel like 1200 is not enough at times. I can't even get snacks in if each meal is 400 calories
-
So should I up my calories or stick with the 1200? I'm 5'4, 166 pounds and trying to get down to about 130. I set a goal of 2 pounds per week

Feel free to add me!
