Thanks. I never thought about getting one. Maybe I should look into it. I'm just so anxious/nervous/excited for next week. I will be 20.5 weeks when I visit my doctor for my 20 week appointment (6/14) and I will find out the baby sex on 6/15. I have only told my family and in laws and one friend. After the ultrasound I…

Thank you. I think it's because my mother in law thinks since I'm petite like her other daughter in law I should show soon. I think my legs have gotten even thinner and my arms. So far only my boobs I have gotten bigger.

Great news to hear.

I have started doing 30 squats a day. In a couple of weeks I want to move up to 50. Then steadily increase.

Thank you ladies for your replies. My mother in law was expecting me to show since her other daughter in law is also petite like me and showed fast. Sometimes I just get so worried that something is wrong with my baby. I think once I do my ultrasound next week I'll be more at ease.
-
@VeryKatie thanks. I'm being paranoid because of previous miscarriage. Plus my mother in law is saying I'm not showing but my mom keeps reminding me that it's my first baby and girls in our family don't start showing until later on. Once I get my ultrasound then I'll be relieved.

I have a quick question when did your pants get tighter during your first pregnancy? Some days I have bloat and it becomes tighter but 5 out of 7 days my pants are still loose on me and I'm 20 weeks.

Yes juice from the Middle East is surprisingly addictive. Lol I noticed that I'm suddenly allergic to a lot of garlic. The mere thought of Thai food or heavily garliced Italian food makes me sick. I hate when I can even smell garlic on anyone know it makes me puke.

I'm in the same boat you are. My due date is 10/28. I find out the gender on 6/15 and cannot wait. I think I'm having a boy though. I want a girl because I only have nephews and my nephews and sisters want a girl (obviously healthy is number one). It's also my first. My husband has two nieces and I have two nephews.…

That's such a coincidence. So excited for the both of us. I'm thinking I'm having a boy.
-
I guess we are all due around the same time. I'm due technically 10/28 according to first ultrasound but if they did it based on my last period I'm due 10/20. I cannot wait till 6/15 when I find out that sex. I also haven't felt my baby move.

Congratulations to you and your family. Your baby is adorable and look amazing.

Today my sister in law (husband's brother's wife) was like let me see your bump. I don't have a bump. I don't have a bump yet. I used to have an eating disorder years ago but now she makes me self conscious. It's like she deliberately says things to me. She knows what I went through and is so weird. I really can't stand my…

I'm convinced some people just don't think before they open their mouths.
-
Thank you. You're right.
-
Ugh I know. Thanks for all your advice. I just want my baby healthy of course but I have always been small and it's scary to think of weight gain.
-
Thanks. So far I don't have a stomach but I'm scared if I get wide. I'm petite and have always been small so I'm worried about how my body will change.
-
What about mountain climbers? Is that a contracting exercise?
-
Thank you. Do you notice your posture better as well? I just want to make my waist and stomach remain as tight as possible.
-
Can you do planks when you're pregnant? I'm 17 weeks and not showing but I want to strength my abs. I also would love any recommendations for any exercises to keep my tummy toned and to help with labor/delivery. I already do cardio but would love some strengthning/toning exercises too

Thanks for the info. I didn't think that sounded right. But regardless you're one of my inspirations because you are sticking to your goal. I only have a MIL and brother in law and his wife. My husband's father passed away last year and the rest of their family is out of the country. My family lives in another state (just…

Awesome job. You look to be right on track to your target weight gain goal. I heard anything you gain after 36 weeks is just water weight (don't know if it that's true).
-
My mom and sisters were ecstatic and my nephews. My husband also told his mom but she just annoyed me
-
I'm just really tired but honestly I'm just so happy that I'm still pregnant. I just keep remembering that. Also today is the day I'm telling my family I'm pregnant. I'm excited and nervous.
-
Exciting.

Are you in your second trimester too? This is my first baby so I was surprised to when I had them. The doctor told me it was just round ligament pain.

Height: 5'1.5" SW- 118 ( I gained weight from the winter and being sad about the miscarriage). Week12: 122 Week 16: 120 (net gain 2 pounds). Just went to ob a couple of hours ago. My blood pressure is super low again and I have to go to hematologist because of my anemia (born with it because my mom was severely anemic…

You guys have to go to Middle East for the sheer fact that the fruit juices must have crack in them. I never was into juices I always prefer fresh fruit instead. Over seas the juices blow the juices we have here out of the water. I used to drink the orange juice like I was addicted to it (and I wasn't pregnant).

I am middle eastern and have always liked food from all over mostly just good ol' American food. However this pregnancy (my first child) all I want is middle eastern (Afghan) food. Too bad I can't cook that many middle eastern foods and my mom is 4 hours away. I haven't told my family yet will tell them this week.
