I think they had a lawsuit for hodroxycut messing up people's livers?

one of my faves is stuffed chicken beasts. super easy and slightly below 300 calories. you can use whatever marinade you like, I personally love the grill mates garlic herb and wine marinade. mix the packet with 1/4 cup water and 1/4 cup olive oil ( or canola oil, coconut oil whatever you like to use). I usually use 4 to 5…

this... starvation mode is not a thing.. just science if you are eaten less calories than you are burning you will lose weight.

yes food scale for solids, and make sure you are factoring in drinks, and any oils or butter you are cooking with. also make sure you verify how many calories are actually in something as there are a lot of wrong entries in the data base.

I think what keeps me going is accepting watching my calories as a lifestyle change, and not looking at it as something I'm going to do for a while and see if it works. I fully intend on watching what I eat for the rest of my life so that I can love the way I look and feel. confidence and just overall happiness are my main…

I personally like to have a bigger lunch and dinner so I usually don't eat very much for most of the mornings. I get pretty hungry between breakfast and lunch time but I would rather have an apple in the morning so I can eat a sandwich rather than two tablespoons of hummus and some veggies haha. I guess it's just personal…

best little changes that have worked for me have been keeping low cal snacks in the house because I am a nighttime snacker for sure. otter pops, low cal pop corn, apple straws things I can eat alot of that won't jack up my calories for the day. keeping the things I love to eat that maybe aren't so healthy around still but…

mfp is the best app I have found for calorie counting. easy to use, pretty extensive data base, and a nice community of supportive people. I thought it sounded intimidating at first but honestly once I had been counting for a week or two it just turned into something I do without even really thinking about it. if you eat…

probably an answer you will hear a lot but if you know this about yourself keep things in your house that won't destroy your progress if you binge out a little. like for me I get really snacky at night so keep low cal popcorn, apple straws, otter pops that kind of thing around. I also have taken to putting pictures of…

this happened to me also. I started at 207 lbs and in three weeks I was down to 192 lbs. I posted about this worried I was losing to fast, the general consensus was alot of that was water weight and it would slow down after a while. they were absolutely right! that third week I lost 7 lbs, and then the next it was 2 and a…

I have also been wondering about this because my best friend and I started doing mfp together and it seems really hard for her to eat enough to get anywhere close to her calorie goal. but for me I have to make a huge effort to stay under mine. she is 5'3 and started at 227 lbs mfp gave her a 1600 calorie goal. I am 5'10…

I don't really do cheat days either. working what you want to eat or drink into your daily goal makes it easier to stick with in my opinion. having said that, if every once in a while I do feel like I need a little extra one day. a couple drinks or a scoop of ice cream or something. I make myself set a limit. 100 calories…

I have been doing this for a month and have lost 15 pounds, but I think alot of that was water weight. I have been really strict about weighing my food, and I don't take cheat days like a lot of people do. everyone is different I have talked to people on here that were just as strict and it took them a lot longer to lose.…

it has been really helpful to get everyone's opinion on this. thank you all for taking the time to comment. I guess if I inspect my feelings further it bothered me most because my stomach is not where I carry that much weight, and it made me self conscious about it, where I wasn't before. I do believe it was a compliment…

he said I was starting to get a " front butt" haha

truth is appriciated I just felt is was a little harsh. there are better ways to compliment someone I guess. if this was just from a friend it wouldn't bother me as much. I was just feeling really good about losing 15 pounds and getting under 200. and this kinda took me down a peg, like maybe I'm not doing as well as I…

welcome, and good luck! feel free to add me if you need motivation buddies : ) mfp really works if you stick to it!

feel free to add me my diary is open, nothing to hide here : )

I use little selfish things to motivate myself. even some of the mean things people have said have been the fire I needed. I ran into someone I hadn't seen in about three years, and I have gained probably 40 0r 50 pounds since then. he was an *kitten*, and said " hey I remember when you used to be hot! " I cried for like…

I haven't been working out at all, just counting calories

my original goal is 50 pounds to lose I was at 207 when I started three weeks ago and now I am down to 192. not that I am complaining, I just thought maybe it was weird to be dropping so fast.
-
wouldn't let me add you but feel free to add me and good luck!

I also love to eat! my favorite thing about mfp is that I can eat things I love still I just have to pay attention. I might have to sacrifice some calories at breakfast and lunch if I know I want to eat pizza or have few drinks at night but I still get to do those things. the reason diets never work for me is that I love…

I am also looking to lose 50 lbs. always looking for more motivation and support. I am only a week deep and already this is working for me. I am here if you need a friend I think others with the same goals are very important. good luck and I know you can do it!
-
feel free to add me I am a week into this and 4 pounds down already! this does work if you are persistent and we can use all the support we can get. the people on mfp are awesome. you chose the right place. good luck with your goals!
