ok in all seriousness the best advice i've ever gotten is to "take care of yourself because no one else will." Also recognizing that US culture breeds, approves, and praises people that DON'T practice self-care so I need to work even harder at it.

this is awesome! i've been drinking lifewater 0 that says "no artificial sweetners" (i get headaches sometimes from aspartame) and i check out the ingrediants: sucralose aka splenda. fml

if you can't or don't want to get a heart rate monitor i would definitely go with MFP's number. i've found it to be pretty close to what my HRM says but the machines are usually WAAAY off. especially the elliptical

good lord. my "happy weight" is when i decided that it was time to join MFP. it's 5 lbs off of being obese for my height!

if i've learned anything from MFP, it's that you can't spot reduce and that defined abs are made in the kitchen. you can work out, situps, as much as you want, but if there's still that body fat there, you're not going to see pretty abs. keep on losin the weight, eat healthy, and exercise :D
