Yes for 15 years. I am obsessed with it.

Yes like I said in my post I have been weighing food for 15 years. Never had an issue. I will never take prescription drugs again.
-
Did you lose the weight??? How???

It's nice to hear from someone in a similar situation. I just got engaged and I have no desire to even plan the wedding because of my looks. I don't recognize myself and don't want to be in a wedding dress. To add onto it.....my fiance has mentioned concern for my weight. We work out together and I meal prep both our meals…

*kitten*! I am so upset with the lack of long term research (over a year) on some of these drugs. I went from a fit 135lbs at 5ft 8 to 194lbs. I have a degree in exercise science, cook everything from scratch, weigh my foods, eat 1200 cals a day average, do HIIT, run, and lift weights like crazy. I came to multiple doctors…

"If that's all their getting married for, then their in for the same result as the person with the wrong mindset about staying home with the kids" - lmao. You do realize the number of people who do this, get divorced, and leave with the working spouses assets?? I don't think those people who marry for money are hurting…

lol end up? would never happen. I am taken and I am not attracted to feminine men. But there are ladies who are. Furthermore, I just stated both parties should contribute equally, how is that NOT gender equality. My partner makes over 150,000 however I still work because I want a career of my own. I like getting my nails…

I guess your opinion differs from mine. You do know that many people marry just to have someone take care of them financially right? Happens all the time. I believe in each partner contributing to the relationship, not taking advantage of the other. I had a coworker who works hard here. His wife doesn't want to work. She…

Believe me I try. The trash will overflow in the trash cans. They will shoot rubber bands at each other and have them all over the floor. They will fart and not use air freshener. The work center is a mess. I usually get upset and tired of everyone not caring and clean my work area. I don't do everything. But its really…

If you are amazing at home that is wonderful. However, I met some guys with wives who don't really do anything at home. I am just saying if you are going to stay at home, be amazing!!! Have a home cooked dinner ready, clean the house, etc etc. Dont just chill at home. Yes, I am judgemental. Everyone is judgemental to some…

Actually my significant other is a psychiatrist, but I still work. :)

ok see that's fine!!! You are pulling your weight in the relationship. I am not attracted to the "stay at home dad" but I know many career minded women could probably benefit from that type of person. Hell, I don't even want to be a stay at home mom, I want my own funds.
-
They are leaving work to become "stay at home " dads. lol should have clarified that
-
Wow that sounds awesome! Must be very rewarding when your plants are ripe and ready to eat! Sounds like a good hobby too. Thank you for the advice!!!!

Yes I was thinking it would save a ton and be healthier. I love cooking. Soon I want to be an exceptional cook with more practice. I don't yet know how to correctly preserve some foods but I assumed it would save a ton to invest in a vacuum sealer. Do you garden , by chance? Can you grow enough food to save on fruits and…

But you stated that antidepressants don't cause weight gain and I have presented a controlled study in which they did. That goes gainst what you originally said. I don't believe weight gain happens in a short frame but over long term usage s I have read. Does it account for all the weight gain no. But i think it is…

That's awesome. Drugs effect different people differently. I am going to only eat 500 a day and weigh my food. If it isn't the meds in 3 weeks when I report back I should have lost weight. We will see.
-
You are right I am not in a calorie deficit which is why I am starting to eat only 500 calories.
-
Yes I have cut carbs and currently cool all my foods
-
And you seem 100% on ruling the medication completely out regardless of the supporting articles I find. So it goes both ways.

Www.drugsdb.com. search for Celexa Mentalhealthdaily.com. search for antidepressants and weight gain Http://www,health,harvard.edu/blog/antidepressants-cause-minimal-weight-gain-201406067202 Pretty much google celexa and weight gain or celexa and weight changes.

I only drink once every 3 weeks

Basically looking for people who have gone through this like stated in the title. Seeing what they did to get through it. I am searching posts and messaging them. I mean I am not really sure what you want me to tell you. I am simply telling you my case and the list of things that haven't worked. I mean I have been at this…

I am telling you what I have learned through out the year through trial. Sorry if some of your advice I have done and hasn't worked

Right now 800 to 1000 is my weekly average. Some days I eat 500, then one day I eat 1800. Each day varies but I watch my weekly averages for macros and cals
-
Well anything over 1200 calories makes me gain like crazy. 1000-1100 is my maintenance caloric intake. I had my body fat measured by a nutritionist and I am suppose to eat 1500-1800 for maintenance. I learned the hard way that eating that much makes me gain. I have tried plexus slim, thermogenics, meal replacements, heavy…

My daily macros are 20% carbs, 40% fat, and 40% protein. I have had blood work done, I have no thyroid problems. I am 5ft8, and a whopping 189lbs.
-
Yes I do use measuring cups and spoons. I just started cooking all my meals 5 weeks ago. I do not weigh my food. If I buy 2lb of chicken, I simply divide it into 8 equal servings and say each one is 4 ounces.
-
Yes, i am honest. The weekly average is 900 calories. Some days lower, some higher. quote="JanetYellen;36453456"]Try 1,300 calories a day for a while. Too low sets you up for bingeing. I saw your diary before. It was a mess. 500 one day, over 2,000 the next. Again: Too low sets you up for bingeing !!! Be honest with…

I keep getting the you are eating too much comment. Well right now I am eating only 1000, so 500 is the next step unfortunately. I have researched the drug and weight gain is listed as a possible side effect. I have read Harvard studies that point to the drug possibly effecting metabolism, but noone knows why. I have had…
