Noticing I have a bit extra length in all of my pants with my legs slimming down now. It’s the little things! 🤣

Chocolate ice cream in the worst flavour. Though I love chocolate everything else. Even the mere thought of shepherds pie makes me lose my appetite

Melted cheese sandwiches Peanut butter and banana on toast Fruit by the foot/gushers gummies Grilled cheese Popcorn with real melted butter on top

I love it. I got started on it a few years back and credit that to my motivation to stay on track and consistent with my workouts. I graduated to the 10k app after. As someone who was almost 200 pounds overweight it was an encouraging way to see progress not only on the scale but in in my endurance and the way I could move…

Deli world light rye bread is pretty good, and only about 130 calories for two slices.

I can grab my wrist all the way around where my fingers touch. A silly little thing to notice...but I can do it on both wrists now!

Noticing that my normal/easy walking pace is faster. Was walking with a friend and she asked if we could slow down...didn't even think I was going fast at all!
-
Thank you so much everyone

A bit embarrassing...but was able to comfortably sit in a chair and not have the sides/armrests painfully digging into my hips and legs, or not having my thighs spilling out the sides...used to avoid that chair, but now I sat comfortably in it with a lot more wiggle room!

Oh definitely made/makes me happy....in so many ways other than the obvious health benefits. It made me proud, gave me more confidence, direction, and a sense of regaining control of my life and actions. It's a long, hard journey...but so worth it

I totally understand...you just gotta find something you love then you'll make it a priority because you'll actually look forward to it. For me it was hiking and joining a recreational volleyball league...and once you find what works for you, everything else usually falls into place

That's my next milestone goal...got about 35 to go. Seems like an eternity but I want it so bad!

Hi there, I would love to join :)

"No matter how slow you go, you are still lapping everyone on the couch" Good on you, keep it up and don't let anyone make you feel less for bettering yourself. If I could high five all the people I drive by out for a jog or run and not seem weird, I totally would. Lol! But I totally get it, I'm heavy and I jog too...but…

For workouts : "I never regret when I do it, but I always regret it when I don't" General: " stay positive, work hard, and make it happen" Also: "don't eat less, eat better"

I just finished my first 5 k run...and got rid of a huge garbage bag full of clothes that are too big! :)
-
70 pounds since January...93 since I started
-
More turned heads, double takes, smiles from strangers, buying clothes you like not just based on your size, and turning down bad food because you don't actually want it, not just because you "shouldn't" have it

My mini goal right now is 5 more pounds. That will put me at a 100 pound loss since my highest weight and when I started mfp

I hear you...I lost a 100+ day streak and was bummed. It's not a huge deal in the grand scheme of things, but seeing a high streak just adds to the feeling of accomplishment and motivation in your journey. Keep going, the days will pass by anyway :)

Northern bc! Welcome to the west coast

Way to go. Bullet dodged for sure! Reminds me of the quote "take me as I am or watch me as I go". Keep on being you!

Looking to lose 100 as well. Feel free to add me. The more the merrier :)

I was almost 330 pounds when I first started, now happily just under 300 and back at it going strong. Feel free to add me. It's an everyday battle but we can do it!

BC'er! Been on mfp for awhile and just discovered this part to the app. Would be awesome to connect with people to help motivate and celebrate! :)

I want to lose 100+ pounds as well. But for me that seems too daunting to focus on. So what's helped me is setting 20 lb weight goal increments. Makes it feel more doable and keeps me motivated :)
