I am 5'5 and stared at a size 12 at 164 lbs. After losing 30 lbs i wear a size 2 of the same brand and same style. Went from a medium to large to to a small

I want to be strong skinny.... I actually find it a huge compliment when people call me skinny. You can be muscular and strong while also being skinny. I'm a rock climber and aspire to be a strong, skinny athlete. If you look at the large majority of professional rock climbers they fit into this category. To each their own.

I started a US size 12, lost 30 lbs and decided I needed to get rid of my baggy clothes and get new. I fit into a size 2. I think it depends what you're starting weight is and where you hold your weight.

5'5" 138 (started at 164). Goal: 115-125 depending on how I look. Add me

Full time RN and full time grad student here. Meal prep, meal prep, meal prep. I choose one day a week to make meals that will last the whole week. My crock pot has been a life saver. I look up recipes on Pinterest and choose three or four times make that will last the week. Also, I try and work out several days a week. I…

I have yet to not feel fat  I went from 5' 5 164 to 132 and still felt fat. I've since gained some weight (currently 138), and I have been feeling really fat lately. I am hoping when I get to 125-130 I will feel differently. I am athletic and muscular and others tell me I look great, but I am my worst critic (like…

I took time off from tracking, and maintained the same weight as when I as tracking. Statting to track again (I just get obsessive about it so needed a break). One reason I would like to lose weight is because the lighter you are the easier it is to climb. I agree, I'm not overweight by any stretch of the imagination- but…

Are we the same person?... I am 5'5 and have fluctuated from 136-141 for the past several months. I want to get down to 115-120 but am really struggling here. I work out quite a bit (rock climb several hours a week, and weight lift). I am contemplating starting to run, but I absolutely hate running. I am just stuck here.…

I wouldn't consider it a success story yet, but here is my progress so far. The first picture is me at my highest, and the following pictures are me last week (-25 lbs). I did get as low as 30 lbs below my starting weight, but struggled to stay there. Working to lose about 10-20 more lbs.

Unfortunately I have a condition that causes me to pass out if I don't eat a larger than normal amount of sodium (neurocardiogenic syncope), so cutting out sodium is not an option for me. Thank you for the advice though!
-
Would you advise measuring via calipers, bod pod test, or?
-
No, I'm not looking for praise and attention. I'm looking for advice. While everyone has a different amount of weight a day fat to lose, everyone is on their own journey. I have fat to lose and I asked for advice, no need to be so negative.

Thank you guys!

Old Navy is also notoriously large in their sizes. I wear an xsmall shirt there when I wear a medium at other stores. Same goes with their pants.

I have done two warrior dashes and they were a lot of fun! There are individuals who train hard and are competitive, but the large majority of people are out there to have fun. You don't have to train to be able to complete a warrior dash, though it may make it a little more enjoyable.

My husband and i both just got the Samsung Gear 2 and we both are loving them. They track your heart rate, estimate your calories based off of your entered height and weight along with your activity level that it tracks. I love it because it holds music and tracks my runs via gps, pace, and distance. I just take my watch…

I am rock climbing twice a week (currently climbing outdoors while the weather is nice), I go to my personal trainer once a week where I am working on strength training, speed, and agility, I am running 2-3 days a week, and am doing body weight exercises daily including chin ups, push ups, hand stand push ups, and dips. I…

I track my calories, use a food scale, etc. I have not focused on macros at all, I will have to look into doing that. I have not gotten a pinch test, I think I am going to get a bid pod test soon to see where I'm at.

I lift something different everyday, including dead lifts, hang cleans, bench press, squats, military press, etc.

Anyone who is into climbing feel free to friend request me. I started climbing six months ago and have climbed outdoors in three different states now. I still occasionally climb indoors but there is nothing in comparison to bring outdoors. I have been climbing 5.9-5.10 walls.

I started in the gym six months ago and now regularly climb outside! I'm totally obsessed. I even went at climbed at Yosemite which was amazing!

I am 5'5 and started at 164 last fall. Got down to 132, then fell off tracking and eating right. I got up to 141 and just started back with myfitnesspal this week. I currently weigh 139 and am hoping to get to 115-120 lbs. I just started full time grad school while working full time so I hope not to fall away from eating…

Salads are super quick to make, there are tons of things you can throw in a crock pot and be ready to go in 8-12 hours. There are a ton of options that don't require a lot of prepping

I would think you would burn closer to 20 calories per oz of milk. Normal newborn infant formula (which mimics the calorie content and nutritional content of breast milk) is 19-20 calories per oz. I would research that to find out.

I didn't really pay attention I guess. I am 5'5 started at 164 lbs. One day I woke up, out on my size 12 jeans, and realized they were really saggy. I was down to 134 lbs. I went to the same store all my jeans are from, grabbed a couple size 10, 8, and 6 jeans, knowing very well the sixes would be way too small. To my…

No eating disorder here, I eat a very wide variety of foods. I do eat processed foods, not fast food though (I find fast food just really unappealing).
