I tried the 1200 cal per day diet and hated it. I switched to a diet that is more filling and more in line with how I want to eat and be going forward. My goal is to weigh 200lbs, so I have a 2000 cal diet (which just so happens to be close to my Basic Metabolic Rate "BMR"). I try to get 180 grams of protein, 100 grams of…

I've been doing 2 hard boiled eggs in the morning, but those frittatas sound great. I think those are in my future.

The C25K program is really good, but take it slow. Every other day at most. I wasn't able to take rest days (3 days of running in a row during Week 2. Darn schedule!), and ran myself into an injury.

I'm in. Feel free to add me as well.

You can never have too much support. Add me.

Add me. I'm always looking for more friends. My goals are to lose weight, live a healthier lifestyle, and set a good example for my kids.

I'm usually 2 pieces of toast, 2 tbs low fat peanut butter, and 2 cups of coffee with half and half. Usually puts me around 450 calories, which is under my budget for my daily meals.

This is an app. It gives audio and visual ques to start and stop running. It's a good place to start a running program if you've never done one before. I'm currently about to start week three, and it has helped me lose 10 lbs (also changed my diet). So far, none of my running workouts have been longer than 31 minutes.

I'm also doing the C25K program. I'm considered obese by all standards. You can do it. Do it at a pace that is good for you. This is my second time doing a couch to 5k program, since I took a few years off to be lazy. The last time I did it, I lost about 40lbs over the course of 6 months. I was also working with a calorie…

I'm all about the Asics. Tried a bunch of other brands, but keep going back to what works.

You can add me as well. Im just getting back into running after a long hiatus. Already feeling better after only a week, and am down 5 lbs.

I'm also doing the Zenlabs C25K running app. It is a well designed app and the running plan is working well for me.

I used that program on my first go around with running. It worked really well. I'm currently doing the C25K program. Not sure what you have in mind, but if you don't mind someone training for a 5k, I'd be happy to be part of the club.
