I'm eating under 1350 every day. I log everything and weigh my food. I can honestly say I'm rarely hungry and I enjoy what I'm eating. When I am hungry, I can usually identify why, I.e. Extra workout, forgot a snack, missed my protein goal. High protein is key. I made the smallest change to my morning breakfast and it made…

Mapmyrun is great and it will sync with MFP

Focus on your mindset too! Read fitness/healthy lifestyle books and blogs, listen to motivational podcast stations. It's not just about going through the motions. :-)

I started on a similar schedule in April and experienced the same thing. I switched to the elliptical or swimming the days I felt pain and its gotten so much better. I know you don't want to hear take it easy or add a rest day because I know I don't want to but instead switch it up for low impact cardio and swap out the…

I am in the same boat... So we found a compromise. We usually agree on our protein (grilled chicken, ground turkey, fish) and we each make our own sides. Mine usually being grilled veggies of some kind and his being velveeta shells and cheese, baked potato or baked fries. LOL btw- he lost 19lbs in two months eating mac and…

I have days that I am brain dead when I get home so I'm sure to work out in the morning before work. Also, to avoid binges or just taking the easy road with dinner... I listen to motivation podcast on my drive home. I like weight loss nation and tiny leaps. I highly recommend podcasts. It helps me stay motivated and…

If it's a Fitbit then you can sync the two apps! If not, you'll have to manually post like you said. Good luck!

I'm in! How do I participate? I'm down 41lbs need to lose another 30 before April '17! Let's do this!

I can relate and I clean instead. Lol I know it sounds like torture but it gets my mind off things, gets me moving (instead of eating), and I feel accomplished afterwards. A taste of instant gratification in this long journey. Good luck- you CAN do this!

I can completely relate!!!! Coworkers, family and friends make comments that leave me feeling silly for caring about what's going into my body! Ugh! No, I don't want cake or a burger and yes I'm going to bring my own food! My in laws try to be supportive by making grilled chicken with meals or making their version of a…

This is my favorite and won some consumer awards last year- I highly recommend it!

My secret weapon for this is plain Greek yogurt or two hard boiled eggs.

Good luck! You can do it! I'm 98 days strong without any cheats, honestly now it feels easy. Why would I ruin my streak?! Set small goals- 20 days without any junk, then add another 20, so on. I promise it feels amazing!!! Funny note- I have occasional nightmares that I had Taco Bell or Wendy's and went to log it and MFP…

Wow! Yes, you CAN do it! I started at 241 and hit 200 yesterday! I can not wait to get under the 200 mark and have a similar goal weight so still more hard work ahead! You can do this

I've tried everything to keep my guilty pleasure of drinks with friends! But honestly the only solution is to cut it out. You're going to have to sub for water or club soda OR work it off to create a deficit and even then it can't be the norm because you can't run on empty calories. Although I wish it would.

This is such an interesting topic!!! And one I've been wondering about. Here's why: In 2006-7 I gained a lot of weight quickly (college partying) and went from my high school weight of probably 160s (I'm 5'10") to my highest being 230. At 230lbs then, I was wearing a 18-20. I lost the weight and kept it off from 2009-2012…

Despite what others might say, I believe it's okay to have a low day here and there. Are you working out? Are you logging everything? (I found that I wasn't in the beginning, i.e. Creamer in my coffee, sunflower seeds on salad, condiments, etc and it adds up.) Short answer- you probably want to get closer to your set goal…

The same thing was happening to me for the first 6-8 weeks of running, elliptical, bike, etc. I kept at it because it didn't necessarily hurt, just felt weird and annoying. I'm glad I did because it went away completely! I did buy two different pairs of sneakers and tested them and it didn't make a change. I think it may…

I find alcohol to be a temptation too, so I've teamed up with one of my girlfriends and when we go out with friends we both have two- three logged drinks and stop together. Then I'll drink just plain club and lime. It's a lot easier to stay accountable. Also, we plan something fun and active for the next day so we have…

I switch up my fruits/veggies by what's on sale. If you have a produce junction in your area it's your best bet for a good price. Costco is great for cheap protein. I get a huge pack of extra lean chicken for $17-19.

Just to clarify, I have 50lbs to lose. But I love your points. I have lost steam in my AM workout for what I thought was no reason, after reviewing the previous day macros totals I realized I was too low in many areas and do fear low carb would cause this to be a frequent damper on my gym sessions. Thanks for the advice!
