I'm assuming this is not a regular routine that you do daily? If I'm assuming correctly, get some veggies and whole grains with some protein ( whole wheat chicken sandwich with lettuce and tomato) for supper. Kudos for doing what you did today.

Not to be negative, but where is the " real" food? I know it's calories in calories out, but with such a high calorie burn and high workout minutes where are the veggies, protein, and whole grains? With all those sugary snacks and refined carbs aren't you afraid of a major crash? Put your foods in your food log how many…

I haven't read all the responses, but could her remark be that while she is pregnant and gaining baby weight she is self conscious of her appearance and she takes it that you are rubbing it in? Reassure her how beautiful she looks. It is hurtful, but. Don't let comments stop you. Share other aspects of your journey. Talk…

I do have a very supportive spouse. He knows how salt affects my body and keep sit out of ALL foods he cooks. When I am having a doubt my self kinda day, he says you can do it. Once I lost several pounds and it started to show, he started weighing his foods and eating more healthy. So far this year we total 90 lbs loss.…

Congratulations! You inspire my hubby and me.

Incredible! Remarkable! Great loss. Share your story and inspire others.

My biggest obstacle is myself. I let people get in the way of my exercise time and then get frustrated and don't do it. Like today. I know this is not a routine thing, but it does happen . I also get in my own way mentally. I over think things and then stress that I am not doing enough or doing to much and doubt sets in.

Pick a day to officially weigh in and track it only on that day. I suffer water retention so this is what I do ; I weigh daily, but only mark my weight on the first of the month that is my official weigh in day. That way I can monitor my daily fluctuations without stressing about it long term. Stress isn't healthy and…

A lot could be happening right now. Bloating, water retention, bowel issues. Don't be discouraged. Give it a week and then weigh again. It is a process. Now if you don't see a loss in a couple months re evaluate things. Until then, be patient, eat right, exercise and enjoy the journey. You will be a success.

Having hypothyroidism doesn't mean you can't lose weight, it just means you have to work harder ( even if your numbers are in the normal range). You can do it. For 12 yrs I unintentionally used the excuse I can't lose so why bother. 7 months into my journey and I am almost 50 lbs down. You can do this. Weigh your foods.…

I don't have an answer but a question. Are your ankles swollen? How about where your achille tendons is? Sometimes you can over work the ligaments.

Hmm, good question. Every 10 pounds lost I treat myself to a specialty yarn or thread. So my UGW reward will most likely be new permanent clothes ( I'm buying just what I need right now. I have 5 outfits right now) . I really can't wait to be able to open a closet and see tons of outfits. I will also buy a nice pair of…

You are awesome! Thank you for sharing your story. You are an inspiration. You are an achiever.

My hubby found the level spot in the house. That's where I weigh once a month . I wear the same clothes after the first morning bathroom run. But scales don't give you the following successes: inches lost, the stamina you have gained, the confidence gained, the faster walking pace, the stride distance that has improved,…

I have hypothyroidism as well. I have to watch my salt content. I have to almost be obsessed with it. My dr told me no refined carbs, no salt, no soy. Since I have listen and obeyed, I have noticed I haven't had the water retention issues like I did. I still get some when I am eating at someone else's home as I can't…

Not sure how severe your sons autism is, but can you do fun moving activities that he would enjoy with you? Going for a nature walk and pick up certain things he likes and start a collection( then you can go for walks more regularly to find more items)dance in your home while you are cooking dinner, if you have stairs can…

You are cutting out refined carbs. Not all carbs. There is a difference. If it's something you can do long term and your happy, then do it. If you're a diabetic then watch the fruits.

The success forum on here are full of people who have succeeded using MFP. If there weren't achievers there wouldn't be anyone on MFP. That being said, 1. Determination ( find it). 2. Will power ( tough to make yourself exercise sometimes and to say no to extra portions). 3. Exercise. 4. Healthy eating ( diet means…

When I started my journey, God gave me Philippians 4:13 as well. I quoted it several times a day for the first month and still quote it. I also quote Matt 19:26. The victory goes to God for my weight loss. I could not of done it without His encouragement, His strength.

Great job! Today was a success. Let tomorrow be a success as well. You can do this! So happy for you. It's not easy, but you did it! You really did.

Set yourself a small goal at time. Ex: when you lose 10 lbs buy yourself a new shirt. When you lose 20 lbs buy a new handbag. Do something for YOU when you reach a small goal. A day at the spa, relaxing in a tub with scented candles lit somewhere in the room. Something for you. Remember every day is a new day. If you have…

Mentality. Not letting discouragement turn me into a quitter. Cause I'm in this for the rest of my life. Regardless what others say, think, or do.
-
Other posters are correct. I will simplify it more. Eat your required 1200 calories and eat some of your exercise calories back. So if you burned 652 calories and you ate 1/2 back you would eat 1200 plus 325 more totaling 1525.
-
One week don't tell much. But I will add, that you mentioned yo yo dieting before and stopped when you didn't see a result. Your post sounds more mental than physical. Your brain is telling your body, you will quit again. The difference this time is You are NOT going to let this one week prevent you from continuing. It's a…

It takes a strong woman to get back up. That is what you did. You have lost 15 lbs so far on this journey. That says, you are determined. You are strong. Life is no longer beat ya down the old road. So stop beating yourself up ( there's enough of life to do that , you don't need to add to it). Chin up and keep trucking.

There is so much to progress. For example : has your pace per mile gotten faster when you walk? Has your stride improved? Are you able to stand straighter? How's your confidence been? Have you had more happy days than before? All this is progress too. It's not just about scales and inches. If you lift weights, are you…

Don't quit. Your body is adjusting to the new calories, exercise. Stress plays a part in losing. Water retention. When I first started losing weight months ago, I would gain 5 lbs of water, lose 1/2 lb all in a matter of a few days. I struggled with it like this for a month. Now that it has been 7 months I only put on a…

I take a small amount of meat what appears to be the size of a deck of cards ( figuring extra ingredients, salts etc) half the amount of potato ( not knowing if they use heavy cream or milk etc) and fill my plate with veggies. If they serve dessert, ask for the smallest piece of cake, or ice cream. It is tough not knowing…
