I improved my health eating non organic GMOs, I just started eating more raw fruits and vegetables.
-
Why do they need to prove something safe when there's no logical or scientific evidence to suggest they aren't?
-
I'm a GMO. You're a GMO. All your foods are GMOs. Some were modified faster but what does that matter? The only reason you fear GMOs is scientific illiteracy.

Calorie is a measurement of energy. You put energy in your body it gets used or converted into fat. That's essentially the science behind it. There's no possible way for it not to work. The energy simply must go somewhere.
-
I honestly find it hard to believe you cut calories by 500 and gained weight.
-
Yes. Chocolate is a health food. A mental health food :)

I don't get how drugs like Rituximab are somehow not as effective as skipping dinner.

Groan.

If there are arguments to be made they do not come from the China study, John McDougal or PETA. I believe meat to be healthy but I go easy on red meat, primarily because it makes me feel sluggish and heavy. I try and stick to game and seafood but it's not always feasible.

I can barely walk some days and haven't left the house much in 2 months. CICO is still a fact. I lost weight and gained weight because of it. Nothing about a scientific principle undermines my personal struggles nor does people explaining it.

This thread was a waste of time.

Documentaries are great if you want to know a tiny bit on a subject and like moving images with it.

I'm not taking you wild camping.

If anyone thinks there's good or neutral advice read the BBC link for a start.

I can't be bothered reading the whole thing but looked at the sugar part. Why zero? So what if it has no nutritional value? It provides energy. What is the evidence that sugar alone causes diabetes?

Gravity didn't work for me so how can you say gravity exists? Checkmate.

I add Turmeric to my Indian dishes but tbh I only use a tiny amount as too much is horrible!

I have an illness this is suggested for. I will not take it until I speak to my doctor nor would I on Myhill's advice. There is a huge debate about the validity of self report in CFS trials, both with pharmaceutical treatments (Rituximab) and behavioural (Graded Exercise Therapy) as well as supplements like D Ribose. Dr…

Perhaps explanation is better than excuse. I did feel like I could never lose weight for a while because food was such a psychological crutch for me.
-
Oh joy, Sarah Myhill. As someone with ME/CFS (pick your name I don't care) I just love seeing her mentioned. She has a rather devoted and loyal following, from what I hear she is a very nice and compassionate doctor, but she seems to charge through the roof and has some very questionable views, not just on ME/CFS but…

Can you breathe out more air than you breathe in? Maked u think

Ray Comfort. Freelee. What is it with kooks and nanas?

I was 10st in 2003 after a bad case of mono. It took me years to regain my pre illness weight of 13st. I ate whatever I wanted and sometimes more, I loved playing sports too, so I was always working at least some of it off. Was I making excuses? I don't believe so, I was trying my hardest and it felt virtually impossible…
-
So don't breathe if you want to survive in the absence of a food source.
-
It's energy you convert into fat though, not physical weight.
-
Energy isn't measured by weight though.
-
It's actually an interesting question but not one I would want to put into practice.
-
Good.

These look good! I'll have to get my recipes up!
