I really love MFP so far. I've used it daily for a little over two weeks now I think. I used to count calories in a notebook but it was too hard to keep up with, especially when I ate out at restaurants... It even works with other apps like MapMyRide which I use to log all of my bike rides.

Hi there! I'm also in the military. Believe it or not I was in better shape before I joined! The only child I have is of the four legged furry type. My goal is to lose 40lbs or at least 30lbs with some decent muscle gain. :) Feel free to add me, I haven't figured out how to do that yet Hahah

Bring a *kitten* load of healthy snacks! Protein bars...lite popcorn! You will often go 30-40 days without seeing anything except mostly unhealthy and repetitive galley food. You will get sick of it really fast and want to snack on the junk in the vending machines. Right before you leave I recommend going to Nuts.com and…
