Blew it this week! I managed to hurt my knee so I've only been doing low impact HIIT, no gym :( Made some bad food choices coupled with low exercise and gained back the 2 pounds I lost. Back to 177, live and learn!

Scale is stuck for me. I've been 177 for almost 2 weeks now despite continuing exercise and what not. Any suggestions or recommendations? I'm completely new to lifting so I'd love as much help as I can get. My overall goal is to build muscle and tone up, continuing to burn fat. I've lost 52 pounds so far but don't feel I have much to show for it. Thank you in advance!

I did phase 1, day 1 today and really liked it! I'm going to continue mixing HIIT though, it's super fun to me. Also, made her sweet and sour chicken recipe for dinner tonight and oh my was it good! Best meal I've had all month! If you don't mind, what kind of progress/changes did you see in the end?

That's a good idea. I use mine for various things, I don't have the upper body strength for pull ups so I use an over the door hanger and do pull downs, you can do standing lat pulls, turn around and do banded punches, step on it and do curls, there's lots of ways for them to be used!

I'm not sure about the machines but my therapist has me using a resistance band and isolating one leg at a time while standing.

I use resistance bands and never took my height or weight into consideration. Started from the lightest which I believe was 10 and upgraded to the mid which is 20.

Fruit has natural sugars in it, I try to stay away except for granny smith apples (they have a low glycemic index). If I'm craving a fruit which doesn't happen often, I try to save it for after a work out when my body is still in burning mode. Just my thoughts though! Good job so far!

Cauliflower fauxtatoes! Steam a head of cauliflower, mix it in a food processor until smooth and add a small amount of butter...they won't know the difference.

I think a little bit of hunger is okay, but if it's excessive and starts causing physical symptoms, that shouldn't be acceptable. When I was heavier, I'd stuff myself.
