Wondering if my toddler is going to simmer down and go to sleep.

I feel your pain. All week I have to wake up early and today I get the chance to sleep in....but I had my phone on my night stand and I get a text at 7 am from a family member to tell me they caught a cold. Okay.

Just started the 21 day fix on beachbody minus the eating program.

Thighs, hips and upper arms. But my backside is the first to go when I lose.

ISN to clean up after my 1 year olds party, get rid of the rest of this birthday cake, take out the trash, stop watching Insatiable on Netflix (but it's so bad I can't) and go run.

Ran for the first time yesterday. Intended on going outside but due to the rain I did so on a treadmill. Lasted for 30 minutes slow jogging. Definitely feel like I don't have the right shoes for this! I also forgot to note my distance. I can't imagine it was far though lol.

My 1 year old has learned she can scream, loudly.

Thank you! I'm not sure where to begin, if I can finish this 15k at all I will be pleased. I feel I should focus on endurance rather than speed right now. When the registration was happening it asked for pace and I picked the slowest possible which was I think 4.

Running newbie over here! Found this group a little late into the month but that's okay. I'm going to aim for 3 to 4 miles. That seems low but I think it's a good place to start. I've gone off the deep end and registered myself for the 2018 hot chocolate 15k in November.

Awesome, thank you.

I'm jealous!

The event is November 18th. As for my feet, I don't really know how to answer that. They're not flat and wide. I think the arch is normal. Although I think I put a lot of pressure on my heels.

This might sound like a silly question but where did you get fitted for shoes? Just at a store?

My next door neighbor complaining that my dog barks....if you don't want to hear a dog bark, don't move into a pet friendly place. The sound made by forks scraping against teeth gives me the chills. Picking up trash inside/outside..use the trash can!
-
Yesssssss! Also these Lateness Littering (outside and inside, we have a trash can..use it!) Chewing loudly

Hi KC! Feel free to add me.

I'll share my experience. I have been overweight my entire life, up until 2 years ago. I started really paying attention to myself and lost a lot of weight. I had excess skin in my abdomen and some fat still. In August or September of 2016 I got a tummy tuck. The first day/night was terrible, the surgery was outpatient and…

I've done the 30 day shred before! It worked pretty well. I'd be up for doing it again!

Hi there! A very late congratulations on your baby! I am officially 1 year post partum as of yesterday :o and would really like to get back into my old routine. I'll send you a friend request. I have a fitbit too if you wanna be friends there!

Hi! I'm not a stay at home mom but I would still love to meet other moms of toddlers who are trying to lose weight! I have a one year old (as of yesterday :o :o ) and I would like to meet others on the journey of motherhood and weight loss!
-
Thanks! I'm actually over 70 pounds lost now! The 30 day shred is completely worth the time and effort. Pair that with good, clean eating and it works very effectively!
-
My current mini goal: to be close to 152 by September 16th when I have surgery since I won't be able to exercise for 6 to 8 weeks. I'm currently 157.2. Restarted and continuing the 30 day shred up until this time which means 1 level for 5 days each.

I know this feeling! I used to shop at Torrid..they recently extended their sizes both up and down and I currently fit into the smallest size they offer, a 10. The only thing I fit into there now are their jeans.
-
You're welcome! I know exactly how you feel. I've lost 70 pounds since March and I have so much more energy, I feel better, I sleep better and I look better. This coming from someone who never exercised, didn't pay attention to calories and I hit that spot where I thought "This is just me." These days I'm up early before…

You have done an amazing job! Congratulations! Regardless of where you end at the challenge, what you've accomplished is nothing short of amazing!

Almost there! I went a little past my goal sometime last week, 159.5!! My digital scale isn't working today...might need a new battery so I used a regular dial type scale that sits on 160 this morning. I'll take it! Congrats to everybody who has stuck with this!
