Trying to eat so little is not sustainable and will likely cause you binge and cheat. Calorie budgets should be based on your current size. Weight loss is a process that should not be rushed. Those who rush through don't learn habits that will keep them at their goal weight and end up gaining it all back plus some…

I had a facebook friend that does that beach body coach thing make comments about food I posted about saying I wouldn't be able to reach my goals if I ate artificial sweeteners. She was super into clean eating, organic hippy stuff. She was by no means trying to be a jerk, I believe her intentions were good. Well I lost…

Use a food scale, seriously. I was stuck at a plateau for over a year then dropped 30lbs in 15weeks once I gave in an got a food scale. What I discovered was my portion sizes were 2-3X larger than what I was logging. "Eyeballing" it is not accurate.

I suggest getting a food scale and eat what you would like as long as you stay within your calorie budget. Eventually you will realize "healthy" food is more filling than cookies.

I am the weirdo that lost weight after. Took this picture 2 weeks before our First Anniversary

I like to cosplay at conventions and I want to be comfortable and confident when people take my pictures. I also really love to run. Being a lighter weight makes running fast easier. I lost a total of 40lbs, 30lbs of it was this year. pg

Don't put a lot of stock in the projections. Some weeks your body is going to fight you.

You should have bought a food scale instead. If all those magic pills actually worked no one would be fat.

At 148 I was a 32GG At 118 I am a 30FF

Are you weighing your food? Unless your medication is actual cakes, that is not it. Seriously though, weigh your food and check your sodium intake (retains water).

Meal Prep Sunday has been a huge help to stop eating out. Use laziness in your favor!

Take progress photos! You will be so grateful you did. I was embarrassed to take my before photos but now I show them off to anyone willing to see.

First Year anniversary is in 2 weeks.

I had a goal weight when I began and I have reached that point and am in maintenance. I am going to start lifting next month to build more muscle. I no longer have a number I aspire to stay at, I just want to look good and have abs.

R/Fatlogic on Reddit.com snapped me out of my pity party.

I am all for that. I think being forced to be a unhealthy weight to do a job is awful and should not be legal.

You said you were going to eat under 1200 that is why everyone is freaking out. 1200 is fine, if you go under you are just begging to get sick/go on binges. It may feel like people are attacking you, know that they are not. The anger is aimed at the Diet Industry, not you personally.

I have never encountered an actual scientist that is afraid to eat GMO food.
-
Use a food scale to ensure you are logging accurately.

Stop looking for quick fixes. Make permanent lifestyle changes.
-
Just drink water
-
Making permanent substanable lifestyle changes are better than "diets" otherwise you are likely to gain it all back plus extra.
-
Level up your Life
-
Make you you are using a food scale to ensure you are logging correctly. Eyeballing it is a rookie mistake

Although my appearance was also good before, my health definitely was not as good. I was starting to get higher blood pressure readings and was getting tired quickly while playing with my niece and nephew or even walking up stairs. I wanted to get back to my prior self that could run long distances (I love running in 5Ks,…

Maybe you lost it before for the wrong reason or lost sight of your Why. Find your Big Why and write it down. Go past the vanity aspects, and get it on paper what it is exactly you are looking for. Are you looking for new adventures? Is there a hero you admire? Try to make the fitness goals along side your weight loss…

Start by finding 2 physical activities per week that you enjoy and schedule them on your calendar. Treat this schedule with the same respect as your work schedule. Once it becomes a habit, increase the intensity if you wish. The best workout is the one you will actually do.

Awesome!
