  • Was under my interim weight goal (165lbs) all week. My weekly average was 163.6. Next goal is 155lbs. Now just need to tape myself to get ND. Going by picture comparison I'm guessing around 21%. If I remember correctly, the last time I weighed 163 lbs was 2004~2005.
  • Last week was a crazy week for me. Late nights and long days between work, kids, college class, and the side business. Then throw two days working a booth at a convention. The good news though is that my weekly average dropped 1.6 lbs to 165.1  . I'm just hoping all the standing and walking around for two days…
  • Been a busy weekend. Not much actual exercise, but plenty of activity and movement trying to keep up with the house, kids, and preparing to set up as a vendor at a convention this coming weekend. My weight has been hovering at .2 lbs below my current interim goal, so expecting a good result on the scale later this…
  • My average weight for the week was 166.7 lbs, down 0.7 lbs from last week. I had a pretty crazy water fluctuation on Wednesday that kept the average higher than where I was most of the week. My daily weight this morning was 165.8 lbs, so I'm thinking that in about two weeks I'll be under my next interim goal of 165 lbs…
  • Or they can go on a fad diet that is unsustainable in the long term, give up, and gain back even more because they overindulge in the "forbidden" foods.
  • Thinking I might need to break out my yoga DVD. My flexibility seems to be on the decline.
  • Happy with the scale today. My average for the week is 167.4, down 1.2 from last week and right on track. The loose pants are starting to annoy me, but I hate shopping for clothes :D .
  • Been an active day at work, so that's good. Still staying at or close to my daily calorie goal, though denying my sweet tooth has been difficult this week. My weekly check-in is tomorrow and my average weight for the week is looking fairly good, so looking forward to the result in the morning. I am within a few pounds of…
  • Life has been crap lately, as a result I have been missing my gym time at lunch. Trying to establish a new routine around the house now that school has started back up for the kids. Still doing well with hitting my calorie goals though, so there's that and it's continuing the progress.
  • Been a crazy bad week for me on the personal side of things. Haven't made it to the gym though I have been knocking out some push ups at work so I'm at least doing something. Thankfully most of the people I work with are much more into fitness than I am, so they don't think it's weird. Today is my weekly check-in. I've…
  • Only down .4 lbs this week, but the bright side is that from the last time I measured (July 29th) I've lost another percentage point of body fat (now 22%).
  • Work schedule is keeping me from the gym today, so went for a walk this morning before the west Texas sun kicked in.
  • Was a rough weekend consumption-wise, way too much beer. Back on track now.
  • I don't log my coffee or unsweetened iced tea (and let me tell you, I get some looks for ordered unsweetened iced tea in Texas). I do log condiments, especially hot sauces and anything related to Asian cuisines for the sodium.
  • I used to be the skinny kid. So much so that I was often teased about it. Stayed that way for a long time, until my 30's, then it started to slowly creep up. I looked at a picture of myself from about a year after I retired from active duty and was appalled at how heavy I had gotten (guessing around 210~215, didn't have a…
  • I do, but beers with the guys on Friday tends to put me over for the day. So I try to budget it, workout a little harder that day, and try to keep it under my maintenance calories.
  • Once a week on Fridays. I'll step on the scale two or three times throughout the week, but don't log it.
  • My weekly weigh-in this morning came in 1.4 lbs down from last week. Total loss is 17 lbs since the beginning of May. Have missed most of my gym time this week, but it has been an active week for me at work.
  • I exhibit traits of both ISTP and ISTJ, though the ISTP is prominent. Basically I'm a pain in the butt to be around if I don't know you very well.
  • Ended up having to work through lunch today, but that consisted of squatting to read serial numbers in the storage room and moving around a couple hundred computers. So, not as good as going to the gym, but activity none the less. Still dealing with satiety issues, but driving on.
  • Didn't sleep well last night, trading the exercise bike for a walk tonight. Been having issues with satiety the last couple days. Seems like all I want to do eat. I've tried drinking water when I'm feeling hungry and is some help but not completely. Thankfully this hasn't translated to craving sweets. Edited to add:…
  • Busy weekend for me running errands, fixing stuff around the house, and school work. Managed to fit some short walks in. Wanted to eat everything yesterday, but restrained. Kettle bell routine complete for the day.
  • That would explain a lot. They recently built a walking path along a creek in my neighborhood and that's where I do my walking now. They put a lot of curves in it so that the total length would be five miles. I would go out for a two mile walk and get frustrated that a 2km egg didn't hatch.
  • Oh, I forgot to mention, I ended up going with Team Valor.
  • Did my weekly weigh-in this morning and *drum roll* I broke through my first interim goal (175 lbs)! CW is 173.6 lbs and 23% body fat (down 2% from the end of last month). Total loss from starting weight is 15.7 lbs. My next interim goal is 165 lbs (5 lbs under the "overweight" category for my height). @alf1163 Thanks for…
  • HW: ??? guessing from pictures probably around 210 to 215 lbs SW: 189 lbs (beginning of May 2016) CW: 175.6 lbs TW1: 175 lbs TW2: 160 lbs GW: 150 lbs Once I get to my goal weight (about where I was at my prime) I'm going to focus on getting to the 12 to 15 percent BF range. Once I get there, I may go up to 155 or 160…
  • Cardio day today. Kept the resistance a notch above where I had it the other day, feels like I did a million low-weight leg presses, but stuck with it and sweated my butt off (figuratively and maybe a little bit literally  ).
  • That's the good kind of sore though. Keep it up!
  • I turn 41 today and on track for a good loss on my weekly weigh-in day, Friday. I'm a little over 15 pounds down from my SW (190 at 5'9") and can notice the difference in the mirror and am starting to see that I still have some muscle in my arms and legs. Chest and abs are going to be longer term before I can see those,…
