I've started swimming laps at my local YMCA. It takes a while to get used to the strokes and breathing, but it has become a relaxing end of the day workout for me.

I like listening to The Moth while running. Has a lot of different story tellers giving short stories about their lives. Easy to listen to and you're not missing too much if you have to jump in and out while running.

Beer on the weekends. I love it and refuse to give it up(swear I don't have a problem). I'm going to stick strictly to light beers. I just realized the average calorie count in the sampler pack I bought last weekend was close to twice the calories of my usual busch light(and not as good). I'm also going to go for longer…

Short term goal: Don't ruin my progress on the weekends with too many beers, burgers, and brats. Also, start walking on my lunch break to get some extra calories off. Long term goal: The body of a greek god(a few years after his prime).

I'm Aaron. Just turned 30. I'm 5'8" and weight 243 lbs. I've always lifted weights pretty heavy and consistently, so I've got a bigger frame and some muscle. When I got back from Iraq in 08' I was 200 lbs and very little fat, so I think I'm going to shoot for 210 and try to keep lifting heavy.
