Woodstock in 1998. Yes, it ended in a hot mess. But I got to go for free, and worked (barely) there for all 3 days. I saw the guys from Metallica back stage, danced on stage with Ice T, and saw all the bands I wanted. Red Hot Chili Peppers on that last night was magical. I crowd surfed during Limp Bizkit, was up front and…

First- how far out are you from delivering? Are you nursing? Are you drinking enough water? Little steps, small good choices will help you feel better. Are you on medication for the depression? Is your doctor aware? These are all things that have to be taken into consideration. If you are less than 8 weeks post partum,…

I tend to eat dry cereal and a banana- and coffee!

Good luck.... Just make sure you're getting all the proper vitamins/nutrients you need. Most people post surgery are on a supplement to ensure proper nutrition while maintaining the low cal diet.

Try drinking some protein Kefir after a workout. 20g of protein, lots of probiotics, fat free, and it has about 30% of your daily calcium. 1 cup is 160 calories.

I think people have a hard time picturing the loss with any degree of accuracy. 60lbs seems like a lot, so they're thinking you'll look anorexic. Only you and your doctor can decide when enough is enough based on your body type, the amount of muscle mass, and your overall health. Maybe you'll be fantastic at 140, maybe…

How can I tell if mine is open or not? I have no clue! Thanks!

I'm 10lbs into a 50 goal... Feel free to add me!

I found Rockin' Body on Amazon dirt cheap. I like it- it makes me think I'll like Cize, which I'll probably try next.

You could donate her clothes to a woman's shelter, or a domestic violence shelter. Then she would be helping others in their time of need and you could find comfort in knowing someone else is benefitting from your sisters kindness. A memory quilt is a great idea too- but only if it will bring you joy when you see it. Your…

Fresh berries and watermelon, grilled peaches or pineapple. Good luck! You'll be at your goal in no time!

I'm lactose intolerant too! Kefir is a great way to get added protein- it's lactose free! I actually drink one with added protein and get 20g per serving. Plus it's full of probiotics which will help improve your gut health and digestion.

I don't like my food to touch on my plate. There is always at least a 1inch boundary around each item. If it touches, I don't eat where it touched another item. Like corn and mashed potatoes.... Shudder... Lol! I also only eat 1 thing at a time, so no bouncing from meat to veg to starch. All the veg first- then counter…

Honestly.... It's in your head. You're still seeing yourself thru your old eyes. Take your new jeans and lay them on top of your old jeans. Seeing the size difference might help you.

Instead of really restricting calories, since you're breastfeeding, try doing some Pilates or other core workouts to help pull in your abdominal muscles. Add in some moderate walking, and you'll start to feel better in no time! Remember it took 9 months to put that weight on, it'll take about a year for it to come off.…

First- your guy sounds like a jerk. If he's worried now about 10-15 lbs, then he's entirely too superficial to be healthy for you. Second- with your family- be firm. Saying no, and meaning it, sticking to it and being unapologetic is liberating. No, thank you, I do not want those chips/cookies/cake/random crap. If you…

Oh and I second the no birth control (at least hormonal). You probably get more migraines around your period, and the birth control basically acts like everyday is those high hormone days.
-
Chronic migraines actually run in my family. Every single female in my family gets them (thanks Grandma!). Try taking a magnesium supplement in addition to your regular vitamin. Studies have shown that increasing your magnesium helps reduce the occurance of migraines. For me- I went from several debilitating migraines a…

Next time you're at the store, put 25 packages of butter sticks in your cart. That used to be on your *kitten*, hips, arms, legs, face, back..... You get the picture. Now walk away from the cart..... Leave those 25 behind you and get a new cart, and start filling that one up too. No one else needs to know. You did that all…

Make it a point to track sweets into your daily "budget" first thing in the morning. This allows you to weigh the benefit of that treat against your hunger for the rest of the day. Of at the end of the day, those calories are still free use them for a dessert at the end of the day. If they're not, you've made better…

I sit at my desk all day- so I added these notes to my laptop to help me move more through out the day. 1 says: 40 jumping jacks, 30 crunches, 20 squats, 10 push ups. I do that every break. 2nd has a list of things I can do during long conference calls when I'd normally eat crap. Arm circles, plié squats, calf raises,…

See if your insurance will cover a visit to a nutritionist. This will help you get your weight loss started in a healthy way, and possibly help You get your diabetes under control. Small goals, healthy choices will grow into big successes of you keep your eye on the prize! See if you can talk to a trainer at the gym, too!…

Tell your friend about your plan and get her on board! Having her there to help you steer your choices in a good direction will be so helpful!
-
Good for you! Small changes add up! Make it a point to make good choices each day, and add weekly and monthly goals (small ones) to help you get there. Add more water, increase your steps by 1000 each week, do mini workouts. Every good choice gets you 1 step closer to your goal. You can do this!!

Why not switch it up and add some yoga or Pilates to really strengthen and pull in your core muscles?
-
Are you drinking enough water?

I'm a grazer- so try packing small "snacks" for the road vs stopping for a fast food meal. My typical lunch is usually: baby carrots, an apple or banana, some Triscut Thin Crisps, a cheese stick and maybe a 1/2 bottle of Protien Kefir. I usually clock in at around 350 (ish) calories. Whole grains, fiber, protein and a full…

Buy your self a $50 gift card to your favorite store every time you lose 5 lbs. 30 lbs, and you've got $300 for new clothes!
-
Kefir is high in protein and full of probiotics that will help with digestion. I use a protein kefir as a meal replacement sometimes. 40 grams of protein and 350 (ish) calories.

Try putting a bottle of water by your bed. In order to get up and get a snack you have to drink it all first. You're probably dehydrated, or just plain thirsty, but you've trained your brain to eat when those signals hit. Give it a few weeks and you'll retrain your brain! It takes 21 days to make a new habit stick.
