I do eat meat and may look at increasing the right meats to help with my protein intake... I was just struggling to ballance my macros ... mostly on the protien side , everyone has given great tips and advice and will be incorporating them into my meal plans... Thanks everyone ;)

I'm eating a lot of protein supplements... whey protein powder.... protien bars to hit my goals and then whole foods for my daily macros ... tons of spinach and kale because I get hungry on a deficit and you can eat greens by the bucket lol

I was super embarrassed when started.... I went to bodybuilding.com for free work outs and chose a 5 day program for beginners... their plans come with tips and videos. After a couple months of that with great results I started going to a coach / trainer for help with proper form to ensure I could start lifting heavier…

@seska422 yes my goal may be out of wacky.... I'm at 200 LBS and 17% body fat. I use body building to aid my fitness journey. MFP has my goal setting 160 grams of protein

Walking is One of the best ;) if it's brisk enough to increase your heart rate. It has a great metabolic affect on your body for hours even days after. I'm not sure about the calories burned or how to log it properly or if its considered any more then what you already account for.

It could be worse.... I have friends that I haven't seen in a year that walk right past me because they don't recognize as a smaller person

My experience with stalling in weight loss is always caused by not be completely accurate with my calorie and nutrition counting. They call it calorie creeping... a bite hear and bite there can easily put you above a deficit and throw you into maintenance

I like to cleanse weekly.... I don't change my diet routine .... I like two or three days a week where I double my water intake .... water and exercise will always keep you cleansed :)

A scale is helpful ... you can own one, if you go to a gym they will have one. The best practice for using a scale is to weigh once a week on the same day at the same time (morning is best) If you are successful in you losing weight the scale can be very motivational
