Get a kitchen scale and weigh and log every morsel that goes in your mouth. Set an achievable weekly weightloss goal. Stick to your calorie goal for a few months and you will will be encouraged by the changes you see. You can do it!

Repurchased warm jeans and jeggings for winter. Last year I had the 16s and wore them through in the crotch, because chub rub. Now not only am I back in 12s comfortably but my thighs barely rub when I walk. I also grabbed the 10s because they were 50%off thinking they will be 'goal pants.' I was able to get into them…

If it's not weird for people to photograph and post on social media their overly indulgent restaurant meals, then I have no second thoughts calorie counting my food. @psychod787 I need more 'gym' friends - how to find them when gyms are locked down?

Perhaps tracking accurately and maintaining a small deficit combined with stable macros and caffeine intake would allow you to find a way to lose pounds slowly but comfortably. How big was the deficit that triggered the migraines?

I found myself in the Obese Class 2 this past spring, and decided to change it. I had difficulties with daily tasks that you can probably imagine. Weight bearing has been tricky for me the last 10 years because of a life changing injury. The first 20 pounds I lost just by logging my food here and maintaining a 1 pound a…

Can you work with a physiotherapist to make a list of (modified) exercises you CAN do and then instead of losing more weight, which will probably not make you happy, eat at maintenance and add on some muscle? It may help you feel and function better, especially strengthening your core.

After weighing 382 pounds, it makes sense that loose skin would happen, hence the jiggle. Seconding the tape measure suggestion, and maybe progress pictures, and maybe dexa scanner. Your workout plan sounds like you're doing a slow recomp. So the above measurements may be more relevant than the scale. I also second the…

In a nutshell... NO. Good base layers helped the first time I lost a lot of weight and worked outside. I got a good set at costco that was thin and flexible but had a high merino wool content. Also check out Duluth Trading for excellent cold weather work wear. It's rarely in my price range, except when on sale, but all my…

Maybe your posture is to blame. Use a mirror or record yourself on your phone camera during your workout. There are many good vids on youtube for neck and shoulders posture corrective exercises.

Grocery delivery for fresh basic ingredients and cooking at home for every day. Thai curry on Uber Eats for a treat. There's a local restaurant that cooks it up very fragrant, authentic and fresh but what most people would call a small portion. Then I just dump out half the rice and I'm all set. And to think I used to…

With that attitude... yeah.

Scale down the cardio for a while or eat more calories.

I'm getting tired just reading your posts, OP, it must be EXHAUSTING living in your head. Please talk to a professional.

Every few pounds as I hit goals I get myself something to celebrate that. Running shoes, earrings, etc.

Unpacked my saved size L winter wardrobe. Said goodbye to my size XL 'emergency' wardrobe. Winked at my size M cashmere sweaters waiting for me to get to goal, "I will see you later, my pretties!"

I found that not buying the snacks makes it so I don't go overboard eating them. I use fresh vegetables to fill me up for not many calories and suppress my appetite. I also stay away from fast food, except for a rare planned indulgence that fits into my calories. And I weigh and log every morsel that goes in my mouth. 44…

Regular coffee creamer, like International Delight or Coffee Mate.

Bought these earrings from a very talented jewelry designer in Etsy to celebrate losing the first 30 pounds. They are brass, and while I wish they were silver or gold I will be looking to buy from her again.

Sounds like you're eating very calorie-laden foods that offer almost no nutrition. Your nrw work activity ramped up your hunger. You're eating more than you think. You might carry marginally more muscle and water weight these days. Are you tracking your calories at all? I would start there. The good news is you're becoming…

Just a thought, it may be about the angle more than strength. If your forearm length is much longer, you have to apply more force to do this exercise than a person with shorter limbs.

Yes, he got 2 weeks' worth the last time this happened (a year ago). Thanks!

That doesn't sound right. I bake my own half-rye sourdough and yours seems to be double the calories. Are you baking it or scanning a package or just choosing an unfortunate item from the MFP database?

So many people here... I think I'll hang out with my dog some more. Talk amongst yourselves, folks. No, I love you all, really I do. I just have a really good book I'm halfway through reading...

And/or high protein and/or high fiber... You can also adjust your deficit in MFP to equal less than .5 (pounds ? I'm assuming) per week, log accurately and trust the process.

1 kg dumbells are a waste of time and money. Unless you're very frail you'll outgrow them very quickly. Use the household items as suggested until you're ready for 10 pounds and above. Lifting weights is about progressive overload so you want to step up the weights so your muscles are challenged to get stronger. Otherwise…

I hope my dog's stomach upset clears up PRONTO! I love the little guy, but my heavy duty cleaning quota has been exceeded 🤢

@RavenStCloud how do you cook your tofu? I've been trying recepies but it's barely edible when I do...

I'm back down to the size at which most of my "good" clothes fit again. 5 months and 42 pounds later. I'm patting myself on the back for not spending much money on the larger size I've now shrunk out of. Just a small bag of Old Navy basics is left to donate. If anyone takes clothing donations these days.Though I am…

Thanks @Dante_80 I may look into it. I've been wishing MFP tracked a wider array of nutrients.
