yep what he said!

yes, it's parents job to make sure their kids are getting the right nutrition! sad story

I can't begin to comprehend this...

Hmmm, it makes me wonder how accurate is your logging... if you're overweight, there had to be a surplus somewhere to get there.
-
I don't know your goals but I was on a slow deficit for nearly a year to get shredded, and it made me appreciate and enjoy all foods, especially the healthy foods. I don't even crave junk any more, look forward to ANY vegetables and fruit (didn't really like most of them before). You may not need to shred any fat, but it…

i had one yesterday, they're great (remind me of softer apples). i chopped each one up, weighed them out, placed in baggies and stuck in the freezer... ready to go! I was thinking they had to turn yellow to eat but defiantly not the case, they were plenty soft and still quite green.

walden farms has 0 cal offerings, but my favorite is probably kraft fat free catalina - 50 cals per serving, they all seem to be high in sodium so be careful on serving size.
-
thanks dude! :)
-
i'll go ahead and stick em in the fridge to slow down their ripening process, will slice one up and add it to a salad, oats or shredded wheat, mmmm!
-
i prefer to change the serving size to 1 gram and then just way out the amount i want to eat, chop up the potatos if necessary. i'll cook a big batch for the week.

Bored eat? try to occupy your mind with other productive tasks to get your mind off food... i have to do that too otherwise i could eat all day. also plan out your meals for the day so that you don't get too hungry where you binge, etc.
-
i love big salads in the evening/night to help fill me up... but not every single day. i haven't gotten sick of them yet, find them delicious and satisfying plus they're full of nutrition! i don't think there's anything negative as long as you're getting good balance of macros, etc.

oat bran, wheat bran, oats, shredded wheat, omega 3 fats will all help :)

what he said!

yeah i eat onions often with bell peppers, love them sauteed mixed in with eggs, salads, tuna, etc.

I used to be picky, but when I was on a slow deficit for many months, learned to really appreciate and enjoy healthy foods. Now I can eat anything with a big smile. It's defiantly not easy to be on a deficit for that long but I was trying to shred all the fat I could before going on a surplus to build lean mass.

I notice enlightened is much harder to find (Sprouts markets carry it) so I typically just stick with halo top and arctic zero, like both.
-
yeah on the box
-
it happens, try to do some extra cardio or eat below budget the next few days to make up for it. (if possible)
-
mmm can only imagine it's pure bliss, trying it! :)
-
i wouldn't buy a rice cooker just for lentils, but since i eat a lot of brown rice too i just love the simplicity of it. you may just need to experiment with the timing, water level, lid on/off to figure out what works best...etc. you'll eventually get it right.

Yes pumpkin and squash are awesome... Thank you GOD for all this wonderful food that's nutritious for us :)
-
It's not... i love the Ezekiel Sprouted Bread, great carb source. :)
-
Pure Protein Bars are decent option, but the combat crunch bars taste even better. another option is the nature valley protein bars but only 10g of protein, and high in fat so you gotta be careful. they taste fantastic though.
-
i sure haven't experienced this, don't always heat it up either... often it dry with no added liquid.
-
mmmm they're great any way, i slice em up on my oats or shredded wheat. :) i'll cut them in half and weigh them out, placed in zip lock baggies, write the gram weight on the bag and stick em in the freezer so they're ready to go!
-
i do something very similar, love oats!!! i'll even eat it dry with yogurt and fruit, taste so good.
-
ive been using Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard for years, it's not the cheapest though.

you could try fat free miracle whip or even the walden farms amazin mayo (zero cals)
