I never realised how much the extra padding muffled the sound of my stomach!! I can hear it gurgling when my food is digesting, I thought it was my imagination at first. But my hubby and kids have commented how loud it sounds...will have to put up with it or grab a cushion to muffle it now.

I spent my 30th in a maternity hospital, bonding with my 2 day old son...eating melted brie and cranberry baguettes (brie not advised while pregnant) was a memorable birthday

I walk about 8km a day, monday to friday (taking my daughter to school and back) and I often add in an extra daily walk listening to audible. It has kept me looking trim and toned as the 80lb + has dropped off with calorie counting and I feel great.

I have lost over 85 lbs and had two children prior to gaining the majority of the weight, I have lost steadily at about a lb a week and since getting close to goal, 1/2 lb a week. I do mostly cardio and walking as exercise. Its only in the last 3 months or so that my stomach "pouch" has started to shrink and the loose skin…

We have 3 PS4's in my house...husband, 16 year old son and 10 year old daughter, the kids ones where saved up for with pocket money and birthday money etc. There are a range of games for all maturity levels which is fine in theory. BUT bear in mind if the older one wants a particular game that all his/her friends are…

About + 4lbs the day or so before and gone again the day it stops.

46 and coming to the end of my journey now, will hopefully be maintenance by September. British lady living in ROI for the last 3 years, would welcome more support and just general chatting as boredom is my worst enemy.

I faffed about for two years or so with "diets" and managed to loose about 2 stone, but it was hard to maintain long term. Since finding MFP and realising it was as simple as sticking to a calorie goal and finding an exercise that I enjoyed doing I have lost another 4 and a half stone. I am 3 and a half lbs away from my…

Hope everyone is having a good week so far :)

3 people in my house eagerly awaiting Destiny 2 and none of them are me :D I'm a second lifer, which isn't really a game, but still hours sat in front of a screen in a word of virtual reality!

Have connected with quite a few ladies so far in this chat, it is great to have the support and accountability from you all. Anyone I have missed, feel free to add me :)

Count me in as well, I need to focuse some attention on my upper area and learn to do push ups properly.

Cheap and cheerful Johnson's baby lotion here, it won't tighten loose skin, but it makes the skin really soft, look healthier (not dry) and smells lovely too.

Meals for dinner in my house, as I cook for myself, hubby and two kids. Often things like curry, but not creamy based sauces, chilli con carne, bolognese. Things you can make in a slow cooker, my hubby has an hour drive home and often held up in traffic. When we have meals like that, I have a smaller portion of rice or…

Currently Chicago Fire (phew...) and previously I wizzed through all seasons of Cougar Town while on my exercise bike, I did have to hold the handle bars tight though sometimes to stop falling off I laughed so much, it was very funny. Oh and Dexter, but that's better with headphones as he is a bit of a whisperer if your…

Add me too, almost at the end of my weight loss journey, but still need like minded 40 + ladies to keep me focused, I'm 46.

I eat what ever I fancy, within my calories. But I do notice on days I eat a lot of sugary foods, fruits and the chewy sweets (they are my downfall) I do find the next day that I am bloated and retaining water, just the way I am when I have too much salty snacks and foods.

Lidl when it's sports and fitness week, pretty sure that is the next week or so here in Ireland, not sure if it runs the same in the UK. They are very inexpensive, look good and wash well if you aren't bothered about 'named' stuff.

For the next two weeks I will be doing the usual Monday to Friday school walks, which is about 2 hours a day in total, and either 45 mins on the stationary bike or elliptical. Saturday and Sunday it's usually a 60 min walk and the bike. When my daughter finishes school for the summer I will need to plan a new routine, as…

Hi ladies, I am 46 and been on MFP just over a year, started at 218 and now at 170. I'm looking towards a goal of 161, but I will see WHEN I get there if that's my final goal. I don't have an open diary and don't feel the need to check out everyone else's. My theory is eat what you enjoy and what works for you, regardless.…

I went for 14 days all inclusive last summer, I enjoyed my holiday to the full and didn't say no to anything. That said I swam and played about on the beach and around the pool with my 10 year old daughter and we went for an after dinner walk every evening...I came back 3lbs heavier, way less that I had expected.

Wow, go you! Well done

Just a thought, but your snacks add up to 878...a Big Mac is 563 and a medium fries is 340 = 903 could you not incorporate takeaway food with out it having to be a cheat meal? (Amount correct in UK and Ireland)
