Dear anonymous, I see you 4 days a week and talk to you all the time yet you see right through me. You are the unattainable. You are all that which I wish I I had but don’t. You are my best friend and I k ow I must settled for that bc you have such high morals and values which I respect more than anything that I would…

I confess I have a HUGE problem with flirting and trying to pick up guys which wouldn’t be a problem if I weren’t married and if the guys I was attracted to weren’t like 10 years younger than me!! I’m 37 and I love younger men!! Judge me all you want. I never actually follow through with anything...I just flirt at school…

This month is off to a great start!! I lost another 2 lbs and my diet has been on point. I haven't been logging as much workout time as I would like but that's gonna change this week

So this date was many many moons ago but I remember like it was yesterday bc it was just so bizarre. I once went out with this guy who I thought was a total gentleman...he was on time to pick me up, brought me flowers, and opened all my doors. But when we got to the very nice restaurant he had chosen all he did was talk…

Well I'm very new to this whole lifestyle change so my goals are pretty simple: 1.) Log my food everyday day and stay under cal goal 2.) Don't eat back my exercise cal 3.) Walk everyday 4.) Start the Thrive Lifestyle Experience to help supplement vitamins and minerals that I do t get with my diet alone 5.) Log 900 workout…

I've seen lots of recipes for overnight oats but have been reluctant to try them. Are they pretty good? Do you have a go to recipe or a fav?

My SV is to be at or below 180 by the time our con comes June 16th. I'm almost there... 6 1/2 to go!! My NSV are to be at 165 for my families trip to Hawaii at the end of August, wear a pair of heels for the first time since I broke my back, ride my stationary bike for 90 mins, and reach my target weight by New Years.

Breakfast is my fav meal of the day so I tend to have a larger breakfast. I don't have a regular menu but I always incorporate about a cup of fresh fruit, protein (egg, almond butter), and fiber of some kind. Every now and then I splurge a bit and make a homemade waffle or pancakes..usually on the weekend. I'm a big cereal…

Hi everyone...so I'm Kim, 35, married and have 3 kids. I am a 10 year Aor Force/Navy vet. I broke my back in the Navy in 2010 and have had multiple surgeries to repair it and gain back the ability to walk and be somewhat active. My last surgery was last summer. Over the course of the past few years I have gained 70 lbs…

Obviously my advice was just a suggestion and I apologize if it came off as something other than that. Sometimes 2 squares is enough for me and sometimes I eat the whole bar as well!! Lol!! It's of course a personal choice and preference that works for me so I just thought I would share it. It's something I learned from a…

@FitToLead I definitely understand what you are saying. I have lots of surgical scars and stretch marks from my babies and I wear them like a badge of honor bc they remind me of my life's journey. Surgery to remove the extra skin or gettin a tummy tuck is the last resort if I can't get my skin back to a place I am…

Just remember to take it one day at a time and allow yourself a little and reasonable treat. Never deny yourself if you want something, rather eat a small portion of what you are craving and then finish it off with a nice healthy snack. I eat chocolate when I want but I only eat enough to fulfill my craving. If I'm still…

My husband tells me he loves my "curves" and that I'm sexy and beautiful just the way I am...but our husbands are not telling us we shouldn't want to be healthy or lose weight...they are reassuring us that they love us no matter what and that we need to love ourselves even if aren't happy with our shapes at the moment. He…

Every single one of you who has shared their success stories are brave, courageous, dedicated, and inspirational. I have just started my weight loss journey and seeing all of you gives me hope for my future as well. Thank you so much for setting such a great example of why we should be healthy and how to get there.

I completely understand what you mean about the loose skin. After 3 kids and gaining a total of 70 lbs over the years I am finally on the losing side. The trouble is that I have already started to see the flabby skin problem especially with me stomach. There are some outfits and dresses I have that I have to wear a girdle…

Hi... This is my second time in MFP and I'm choosing to work out at home as well. I wasn't successful at all the first time I did this but this time I'm so much more motivated and my kids are very supportive. I have started out walking, doing calisthenics and stretching. I also recently purchased a used stationary bike. So…
