https://www.instagram.com/p/Brd209rlDpC/ cleaned my chain last week, it was much needed. Started with a drop of dish soap on each link, then warm water on a synthetic brush to gently remove junk, after that degreaser, let it dry and then lubed it.

on this morning's ride I passed a deer, they just watched me suspiciously as I pedaled up the road

yeah! stopped using MFP for awhile, but now I'm back and could use some friends to motivate me (I'll do my best to motivate you too!) - feel free to add me :)

@bronaghCPM so, how's it going? Got a bike? Make sure the bike fits you - you can have a shop or someone knowledgeable go over some of the ways to adjust the bike to fit you better if need be (saddle height, fore/aft, stem height, etc.) Riding? Gradually increase miles, don't over exert yourself You got this!

...resurrecting an old thread ;) I generally wipe mine down before a ride and clean the chain about once a week. Every two to three weeks I'll give it a really good cleaning - soapy water, degreaser, etc. - that said, it has been about three weeks since it's been really clean

I'd say try increasing your cadence, speed work - get those pedals spinning as fast as possible every once in awhile, shoot for over 100rpms

This morning went on a 39 mile ride with a group of friends, 2,254ft of elevation (Fridays are climbing rides) and stopped for breakfast.
