I could do it the night before but I'm afraid the ingredients would separate and it wouldn't taste the same. I don't like to buy premade shakes.
-
I'll check it out. Unfortunately I'm on a bit of a budget so that's why I'm aiming for inexpensive ones.
-
Are those the really slender blenders? Are they quieter?
-
I'm going to be more patient. Trust me. I want take the weight off forever. Not just a couple of years. :) And I'll check that link out. Thanks.

Ice cream is always important. :) But yeah I'll just make I hit my calorie goal. I'm not too far over my macros. :)
-
Ok. So what about carbs. Because I can't seem to reach 1500 without going way over my macros. Especially that one. Fat is fine. But when I add everything in I'm over by quite a bit. Almost to 150 on carbs and almost 130 on protein. :( I don't know how to reach my goal without going over.
-
So it's not going to kill me if I go a little then?
-
I had 2 string cheeses. They're the ones made with skim milk. I did make sure it fit into my calories and macros. I did, however, go over my protein.
-
I do use a food scale. So I was definitely eating 1200.
-
-
Ok I will do that. I think 1500 is a good range for me. Because I got really hungry last night and ended up eating a late snack when I shouldn't have. So I'm hoping eating more will prevent that.

@MaiLinna Wow that actually sounds really good. I loved adding banana to my shake. It taste soooooooo good. I really need to start going back to eating what I want, within reason of course. :) I use to have my carbs and everything pretty high. It was what MFP recommended, but I felt that was too much. However I was still…
-
Ok I'll definitely do that. So as far as exercise calories go, if I burn 200 calories, do I eat 1600 calories? I'm only planning on eating half back or maybe 150 if it's 200.
-
Ok so I've adjusted my settings. My goal is now set to 1.5lbs per week and 1500 calories. I'm not going back down to 1200 ever again. The recommended from MFP, however, was 1650. So should I put that in as my calories or is 1500 fine? I really don't want to cause any damage to my body while trying to lose weight. I'll…

I was, but I usually can't wait until I've lost any weight before I buy myself a treat. And its usually clothes related. But I think I'm going to start doing this again. It's great motivation. :)
-
Same here. I feel no ill side effects from what I'm doing. I just worry that after I've lost all my weight I'll gain it back some how because I wasn't patient enough and I didn't take it slow. :/
-
@WinoGelato I have my goal set at 2lbs a week currently. Like I said I'm very impatient. But maybe I need to learn to have patience and focus on being healthy and let the weight come off gradually. I'd hate to regain what I've lost by not taking it slow. :(
-
I was eating 122g maybe a little under but I've changed mine so its 105g now. I still go a tiny bit over or a little under but I think anything lower than that is too little. Although I'm no expert. :)
-
Dang it. It won't let post a picture. :(

content://media/external/file/28371 My heaviest weight was 268lbs. I started MFP at 240lbs. I'm now at 213lbs. I've lost over 50lbs but I have more to go. I've pretty much been overweight since I was real young. I tried different diets but nothing stuck. Mainly because I was lazy (still am) and addicted to food. I still…

Congratulations! You look amazing. Question: How are you doing as far as lose skin? Do you have any or none or some? Just curious. No need to answer if you don't want to. But still congratulations. :)
-
I'm not going to lower my carbs anymore than 105g which is what I have it at right now. But I guess that means I need to cut bread and sweet potatoes out of my diet. :(
-
I know I probably sound so naive. I'm new to this. But I'm learning. I'll keep my protein at, at least, 105g. I may increase it if that feels like too little. I'm use to 122g but usually don't reach that except for maybe occasionally.
-
I haven't been but from what I'm hearing, I should. So I'm definitely going to start. :) Does it matter what I eat? And should I eat only half back of my calories lost?
-
Well I changed my macros to 105g Carbs 105g Protein and like 60g (I believe) Fat.
-
So I should lower my fat and increase my carbs and protein? I've tried the chocolate pb2 powder and didn't particularly like it but I'm wanting to try the regular one. What about chia seeds? Or are flax seeds better?
-
@MaiLinna I'm not diabetic, no. But I have a history of it in my family. I had my macros originally set to 122g Protein 122g Carbs and 47g Fat. I've adjusted it so now its 105g Protein 105g Carbs and 60g (I believe) Fat.

I love bananas. Especially on some whole wheat toast with sun butter and a sprinkle of cinnamon. It's delicious. But I don't eat that all of the time. I'm not cutting out carbs completely. I'll eat anywhere between 100-122g per day. But I am going to start eating only around 100g.
-
26g protein 18g carbs 13g fat
-
I believe I read somewhere online or something. It said something like for people trying to lose weight we should only eat between 50-80g of carbs.
