I'd say aim for a 1% loss per week. I'm currently at 170 lbs and between 30 and 40 lbs left to lose. I've been losing between 1.5-2 lbs a week since starting. Although occasionally I've lost 3 lbs. Your rate of loss will slow down on its own anyways, but if you feel like you're losing too much too fast then adjust to 1 lb…

I haven't had a sip of soda or sugary drinks since March of this year. I was drinking 3-4 liters of water a day but now I drink 5 since that didn't seem to be enough. So yes, I too recommend anyone and everyone who is trying to be healthier to drink more water and little to no soda or juices. It also aids weight loss. ;)

Congratulations! That's awesome. :) And yes, I definitely had a moment like that. Back in March of this year I was 268 lbs and I was on the verge of having diabetes and I had high blood pressure. I looked in the mirror one day and said "screw it, I'm sick of being this way and feeling this way" and I haven't looked back…

Congratulations on your success so far! You look amazing. And what an adorable little girl you have. Keep up the good work and be proud. Because you're doing great! :)

Yes, definitely. But I'm ok with it. :) Although to be fair I've only gone down one cup size so far. Its really impossible to know how much you'll lose in that area. But don't sweat it. Health and happiness should come first over looks. :)

Meat, eggs, cheese and protein bars and powder. I aim for 147 g of protein but I go over sometimes.

What a great mind set. Congratulations on your loss so far. You've got this! Good luck with the rest of your journey. :)

Great job. Keep it up. :)

I only eat them to boost my protein. Other than that I don't see the point in eating them.

First and last? I'm definitely going to try this. :)

I am definitely an emotional eater. From my teenage years and even now at 28. I still suffer from wanting to eat when I'm stressed or depressed, but I've learned to control it. I know to tell myself that I'm not hungry just stressed. I'd hate to gain back everything I've lost because I'm sad or anxious. I started out at…

Thanks everyone. I was worried if I did body weight instead of strength training I wouldn't results. And I'll definitely look into getting some resistance bands. :)

Weight fluctuates day to day. Water weight, TOM etc. So I'd say once a week at the most.

I still have thoughts of myself as being fat. I'm in the 170's (I can't give you the exact weight I am since I haven't weighed myself yet this morning) so I'm not at healthy bmi yet. I am finally in the overweight one now. Maybe once I'm at a healthy bmi then I'll finally feel different. :)

You look incredible. I can definitely see a difference. Congratulations on your loss so far and good luck to you with the rest of your journey. :)

You can pretty much eat what you want just in smaller portions. I typically eat 1 cup low fat vanilla yogurt with banana and peanut butter or two eggs and a bowl of special k protein cereal with almond milk. If I'm in a rush I'll have a peanut butter and banana protein smoothie/shake. For lunch I'll have a turkey burger…

^^^ This :) Also congratulations on your loss so far.

To be 168 lbs by christmas. I'm 179.8 lbs atm. So not too much left to lose until then. I can definitely do this.

Slow and steady wins the race. Congratulations on your loss. You look incredible.

Gee thanks for all the amazing recipes guys. Lol.

As I've said above I've decided not to have a cheat meal since I'm so worried about binging and/or gaining weight. Thank you all for your advice and input. :)
-
All great advice. I'm back on the fence now. I don't think one meal is going to mess me up too much, But I'd really like to continue to lose weight at the rate I am now. I know it'll slow down over time regardless, but I don't want it to happen just yet. A part of me is doing this because I miss having a meal with my…
