  • Today was the first time I've ran in heat like this. I sweat through every article of clothing I wore, but I still did the run.
  • Good on you. Keep fighting. Straight up, I can't relate to you on basically all of this (nearsighted and anxiety I know but the rest I hope I never experience). But I can commend you for fighting. The best way you can keep yourself healthy is by making informed decisions. Keep reading and researching about the best ways…

  • Thank you guys so much for the responses! That's kind of what I thought, but now I will not feel bad about telling her no. Thank you!
  • I slept in my makeup and now my eyes feel disgusting this morning.
  • I always track, but no judgement, because even on the days I go over, I'm eating better and less than what I was.
  • I like keeping the streak going. Also, once I stopped thinking about it as a pain and just started doing it, my life became a lot easier. Besides, I was kinda curious as to how many calories I was eating anyway.
  • Damn, you look great! Well done
  • Well, I am a student, political nerd, curler, and book devour-er, but I think that's close enough. I've been on here about the same amount of time. Feel free to add me if you'd like ^_^
  • Body fat percentage is just another number to measure your successes off of, much like scales, that can be notoriously innacurate. The most accurate way to measure body fat percentage would be to cut yourself open, take out all the fat and weigh it. Outside of that, take all the readings with a grain of salt and carry on.
  • Can I do a before and during? Because I just noticed this and I'm pretty phsyched. Also, I'm so sorry for however big these get - I'm on my phone.
  • Ok, now I'm following. Ballet is intense, and if you aren't properly taking care of your body, it can deteriorate really quickly. You won't do as well on your exams if you aren't giving your body all the supports it needs to succeed. The best dancers are the ones who actually have the energy to dance. Definitely work in…
  • I'm not an expert, at all. However, without your height for reference, I can't tell you how much you should be weighing. However, I don't think that you are eating enough. If you've lost weight and still feel even more fat, the issue might be more mental than physical. Body dysmorphia is real, and you might want to talk to…
  • Hey guys! So I'm brand new to this group but j thought I'd add a little bit in. I went for a 6km jog this morning to celebrate 50 days of logging. I also stopped by the outdoor gym my town has and used some machines which I don't normally do, and that was cool. Also tomorrow is my last day of work and then I get two whole…
  • Today is fifty days of tracking in a row. I celebrated by going for a 6 km jog this morning. It was glorious.
  • I work on a submarine, and today while we were cleaning it, we went up to explore the conning tower (AKA: fin). I'm scared of heights. But somehow (although slowly) I was able to climb up four different ladders through two different hatches and get up on top. The view was awesome, and even though I was shaking and…
  • I want my shirts for work to not touch my stomach. It's too hot for that, and while the snuggness wasn't bad trying them on, inside the museum it sucks.
  • I'm hoping to get down to the mid to low 180s when I go away for school the first week of September. I'm 198 now, and have about 9 weeks to drop 15 ish pounds? I can do it!
  • My friend and I go for jogs every other day or so. Today we managed 5.3 km in 45 minutes, which shaved about four minutes off of our previous time! Also! I thought I was done for the day exercise wise, but a friend, who knows I just got a new bike, hit me up. We went for a 10 km ride, which was really nice ^_^
  • Weighing on Saturday (today). Down to 199 lbs! This means I met my goal (below 200 when school ends) which I think gives me two points in our point system? So now I'm at 1 instead of -1. Ha
  • Why do I relate to the couch comment so much. Either fantastic job with the weight loss!
  • You need to change your selfie angles, and that's a surprisingly large amount of work. What worked for you before won't work for you now.
  • My mother does the same thing! I've lost fourteen pounds, it's barely noticeable, and she's like "you've lost so much weight! You need to slow down!" And when I told her I wanted to get into a size 8 pant, she said "that's too skinny Kate, you're going to need to reevaluate". I figure mothers are just like that. Good on…
  • Same as yesterday, spiced chocolate oatmeal with strawberries and peanut or almond butter. (Keeps me full until 2 pm)
  • Today my friend and I were in the middle of talking and she just said "You look really good by the way, like, have you lost weight?" I'm 13 pounds down.
  • You look like you lost years! Damn well done
  • I've always heard that motivation is fickle, and not something you can rely on. Instead, being determined and creating good habits will get you to your goal. I mean, that's no where near as fun as motivation, but you also need to remember that you're doing this for the betterment of yourself, and you are one of the most…
  • Middle of no where, southwestern Ontario here :)
  • I didn't have any clean pants or skirts in my closet, so on a whim I grabbed the size 12 (or 14?) American eagle black skinnies that I haven't been able to wear in over a year. Lo and behold, they fit, and they fit very comfortably!
  • As someone who just graduated from high school, and am still kinda in the same age range as your daughter, here's my two cents. I was over weight at 14, and with calorie counting, got myself from 185 to 167 pounds while standing at 5'9". I then stopped counting and four years later, when I checked again, I was at 215 at…
  • I remember the first time I passed a decked out runner (coordinated shoes to t shirt, arm band, I phone, lulu lemon everything) in my soccer shorts and Bo Burnham t shirt. It was a great feeling. I know that obviously so long as your running it's good, and your clothes don't dictate anything, but still, it felt good.
