Down 3 in the last week!! Last week Friday we threw out all junk and filled house with fresh fruits and veggies and lean meats. I've not had soda for 2 weeks too....whew....glad I'm finally starting to see something come off....I was starting to get discouraged.

I like everyone's idea of setting small goals, like 5 or 10 pounds at a time. I am gonna copy your ideas....although my overall goal is 40.....I'm starting with goal of losing my first 5!

My goal is now 40 pounds. Seems every so often my goal creeps up a few more pounds though because I've gained a few more pounds. Cycle needs to stop. Grrrr....

I joined MFP a couple weeks ago and I know I had gained some weight...but I weighed again this morning and am right were I began. So....Weight loss = 0.

What is the 5 day pouch test? I'm a RnY bypass patient - surgery was in 2009. I am 5'4" and weighed over 250. I lost over 100 but have gained about half back. Just curious what the pouch test is. Thanks.**update - saw in another post that someone Googled it so I did too....found my answer. Thanks!
