I think that's awesome! Even the Marine Corps recognizes that pull-ups are extremely difficult for women to do.

I've been doing three sets of 10 pull-ups with 30lbs. Haven't tried to increase the weight in a while since the last set is always brutal.

I kind of don't want to mention her here, because I'm selfish and I want to crush on her all by myself but @MeganAM89 is way too gorgeous, sweet, hilarious, and clever for her to have gone unnoticed by everyone else already.

Way back in the day (like middle school), I'd blow off the carpool so I could skip school. At least a few times I did that, I wouldn't realize that one of my parents only had to work a half-day, so I basically had to hide in a closet instead of having a day off.

Yeah, I agree with the other posters. That's controlling and he's never going to fully trust you. You don't need that hanging over your head. I think it's time to move on.

I think everyone should experience a non-life threatening schoolyard fight at least once, and hopefully early. Seems like the people who haven't always have an overly-optimistic view of their fighting abilities. Too much TV.

Easiest way to tell is to look at the back and see it it's labeled with "Nutrition Facts" or "Supplement Facts." ETA - Protein shakes can fall into either category depending on their ingredients and the FDA Generally Regarded As Safe list.

I concur with the racks and bumper plates. One of my favorite gyms had a big open space of astroturf for people to do sled pushes/pulls, farmers carries, etc. Not sure if it'd be an efficient use of space at a commercial gym, but it was nice.

Be strong! Maybe just drink a lot of water or something else to fill you without too many calories. Actually, you might want to hoard your food just in case the state of emergency lasts longer than expected. haha

I know one person on my friends list that's doing BBG for a second time around (I think). She seems to be in really good shape. She looks amazing anyway. Great job on doing it for 8 weeks! Good luck!

I think if the social interaction (and subsequent flirting) wasn't on MFP. I'd probably just be kicking it analog. It definitely keeps things interesting.
