My goal is to start a very slow bulk after the cut is over and either continue SC or restart the last phase (Gluteal Goddess Advanced). Actually, that was the plan.. but now I really miss the split day programs I used to be on.

Thanks guys! I'm going to go ahead and do it exactly how she is telling me to.

I am losing simply by focusing on protein intake and staying on calorie deficit. I probably eat ALLLLL the carbs and then some. Poster, keep doing what you're doing. I'm also having a bad week since the scale isn't moving (just this week) and I'm on an aggressive cut so losing 1lb per week is crucial.. but I also have to…

My protein supplements are all chocolate favored. This has helped me SO MUCH in the chocolate craving area of my life.. and trust me I'm a huge chocolate lover.

So y'all are just going to forget about Chick Fil A Fries????! I used to love MCD's fries. It was an obsession.. actually. Then I got pregnant and decided to stop eating there and also gave up soda. That was 5 years ago! Recently bought a small bag of fries from there and yukkkkk. They taste like.. nothing. If that makes…

You can do it on your own and for free.. but honestly looking back, I wish I would've hired a proper trainer to have helped me. I missed out on newbie gains and it's taken me years of trial and error to get to where I am now. I say if you can afford it then it's worth the investment. BUT, do try out plenty of trainers and…

In all honesty, I just want to look good.

Sweet potatoes. Chicken (when I cook it myself). BCAA's.

You pretty much have to be more consistent with it. It will take longer to lose the last bit you have to lose. Unless you do extremes which is not fun and probably not worth it. Good luck!

Speak to your OB first. I have read and hear from some breastfeeding moms that their milk supply gets low once they start a diet. This is only from experience. Not sure about the science behind it.

You made me chuckle at work. Thank you.

I don't have much to lose so people haven't notice my weight loss lately. Not even my husband. I had to show him a progress picture so he could see that I am in fact losing. ... oh but let me gain 5lbs and all of a sudden everyone notices a change lol

The only supplementation I take are protein shakes and that's simply because it helps reach my protein goal for the day. I will very rarely take pre workout when I'm desperate for energy (normally during cuts). But even that is only half a scoop. IMO - almost all supplements are a waste of money.

That's so interesting. After a few responses I thought "well, if my Polar watch says I burned 300 cals on the stairmaster then who cares about holding the handles" but I guess I'm dead wrong in thinking that way. Not that I care about holding the handles or not.. except I will have to go much slower than I am now in order…

First and foremost: buy a scale and weigh ALL of your food. That's the very best advice I can give you. Honestly, I think 14-15k is not enough for a male.. but I'll let other, more knowledgeable peeps advice you on that one.

It's never going to be 100 % accurate. I don't fully trust labels, I know there's rounding that goes into it, but I'm not going to stress myself into doing more than I'm already doing in order to get the most accurate calories. I feel like just counting calories is crazy enough. Ha! Losing weight, so this way is working…

5ft 7in 25 yrs old I weight 142.4 lbs as of this morning Currently on a 12 week cut - eating 1750 cals a day Average weight loss 1 lbs a week

No bullet journal but I do keep track of my intake on my planner. I need the month at a view to help me see the full picture of my progress.
-
You're not gonna like this, but I've had to face the fact that my goals will not be reached unless I am consistent which means counting cals even during the weekend. I've had to turn down food (I don't drink so that's an advantage for me I guess), workout regardless of what's going on, and count cals. It sucks sometimes…

Thanks y'all! I already emailed the gym to ask if they had straight barbells besides the one on the squat rack and they said they didn't. They only have the EZ barbells (they also have a smith machine but that's not what I meant - sorry for the confusion). It's just chest exercise where I wish I did have the straight…

Pictures, clothes fit, gym progress, and THEN the scale!

Polar watch. Small, able to track all activity even sleep, seems to be the most accurate out of all the others I've seen.

I'm mainly pissed when a guy, or anyone, tries to talk to me during my workout. Like last night, I had my head phones in and picked up a 30 lb dumbbell because I was about to do my second set of goblet squats when a guy tried to tell me something. He pointed down at an ab roller so I assume he said something about his…

Speaking from experience, you will have to get a handle on your weekend eating. I was in the same boat: eat well during the week then over indulge on the weekend because life Is short and I am enjoying myself with friends/family and blah blah. Eventually, I was just spinning in circles.. losing the same 3-5 lbs every…

Your husband can support you without having to eat the same things or the same way you do. It's unfair to ask him to change his food habits when he doesn't want to/is not ready to. Take care of yourself and yourself only. If you rely on support from others to get through this you may not get very far. Good luck!
-
Here to let ya know that I was in the same boat. You can try a dozen different exercises but if your diet is not on point you're simply going to spin your wheels. I didn't start losing weight until I made sure to track EVERYDAY. My biggest issue before was weekends. I'd eat at a deficit Mon - Friday but then on Sat & Sun I…

Nice? I'd rather have people answer my question directly than feed me a bunch of lies. You can workout without the waist trainer.

It's a waste of your time and your money. I know many people who have gone on them and they gain the weight right back once it's over. They are excited about the results but miserable because of the process. Save your money and simply work with this app for free!

First off, great job on starting! You have no idea how many take so long to do just that! Second, you said you and your husband eat the same amount? I have a feeling either you are eating too much or he is eating too little. How tall are you? How much do you weight? What is your goal weight? How do you track your intake…
