I don't start eating until lunch time, have many snacks with me throughout the day, low calorie drinks are life savers, and a large portion of my calories are consumed after work! Hope this helps.

I have not read other responses - in my opinion do what works best for you. You don't have to count calories. You can have meals that consists of lean protein, veggies, and crabs and limit your treats here and there. When I do this, though, I tend to eat too little and lose weight too fast (that's bad for me if I want to…

You seem set in your ways. Good luck!

So what are you going to eat once you lose the 40 lbs? What will you do when you start gaining weight again once you add solids back into your life?
-
Thank you all! I haven't had these in a very long time and no one ever knows what they are called. I just tell them the texture and they know what I am. Y'all are the best.

How about you give us your stats? I have a feeling you're eating too low in calories. Sure, you will experience some cravings or hunger here and there but you shouldn't feel as miserable as you are feeling. What is your height, weight, activity level, what does your workouts look like, how many calories are you consuming…

Honestly, I wouldn't be able to do all that I do in a day without my husband. I have a 4 year old child, soon to be 5, and a lot of things help. She attends a daycare where they feed her meals so I don't have to pack lunch for her. We pay more each week and it's totally worth it. I only cook for myself. My husband cooks…

My list is simple: Lime Hot Cheetos, Pizza (from Pie Five since I can make my own and have the calories be as low as possible while still tasting delish), Chick Fil A number 1 without pickles, chocolate.

Pills do not work. I bought some from a stand at a fitness convention and they made them seem like they were magic pills. $60 loss and months later I realized that they weren't. Don't waste your money. This app is free and with some determination you can get to your goals without all the extra stuff people try to sell. The…

I feel like now that I am on an aggressive cut, the cravings are so real. Before when I was eating just a little under maintenance it was as if I wasn't on a diet at all. I could fit plenty of the foods I loved! I would make sure you're not restricting yourself too much. And if the cravings are super real for you, try to…

This is what I suggest, of course you don't have to do it this way. Eat at maintenance at least for a couple weeks until you get the hang of logging accurately. Then subtract from there. That's what I started doing after wasting so much time with trial and error. If not, @livingleanlivingclean has great advice too! Good…

Honestly, I think this is the best approach because IMO this journey is for you and you only. Others may offer support, but in the end it's entirely up to you whether you succeed or not. I started a cut and I'm telling no one. Not even my husband! He's the 'bro' type so if I fit in a slice of pizza in my day he assumes…

Thank you all! Lots of good ideas. Can't wait to go shopping this weekend.

Hey! So I'm no expert and I hope others chime in with their own thoughts, but in my case the guy wants me to multiply my weight 147lbs x (9-10) which would be 1323 - 1470 and ta da! I have my calorie intake. Then I believe he suggests I lower that amount each time my weight stalls for a few weeks. That's a huge no no for…

I recently read this and then shared it in a FB group and received a bunch of heated comments regarding the calorie intake. Looking through it again, I had to agree with them. His math is sort of off. If I ate the amount he recommends I'd eat my arm off. The rest is SO good though and really spoke to me at another level,…

I have a close friend who has gained a lot of weight in the recent years. She was skinny in high school and actually made fun of me once when I was gaining weight (I am very sensitive - there is a chance she thought she could make that type of joke because of how close we are but it stung!). I was never obese, just not the…

They are not a treat I 'make' fit everyday, but I buy them each week. I like the dark chocolate one! For me, it's a great substitution for a chocolate bar.

3 person household - $160 per week. We eat out maybe 2-3x on the weekend. Idk, we eat quite a bit so towards the end of the week our fridge is empty.

I'm very confused by what you're saying. Are you suggesting I DO drink diet soda or I DON'T drink diet soda? I drink plenty of water :) but when hunger strikes I need something other than water to get me through it. I'm not crazy about iced tea but maybe I should try it again. Never have had flavored teas so I'm excited to…

This is incredibly helpful. Thank you for taking the time to explain this. I'm going to refer back to it if/when my weight begins to stall. Nah I get the plan is super aggressive. That's why it's only for 12 weeks, if that! I have a certain level of leanness in mind. If I can get to it before I hit 135 lbs then I'll stop…

Trying to lose 11 lbs by Oct 31st. I have a plan this time. Before I just said I wanted to lose the last 10 lbs but never set up any other goals along with it so I stalled.

The only times I experience this type of obsession was when I was under eating by a very large amount. This might not be your situation but I would take another look at your goals to make sure you're on the healthy route! Pre logging helps me more during the weekdays since I eat mostly the same things. But still end up…

Thank you. I'm trying to unlearn a lot of the junk that was fed to me as a newbie. I knew it was rather silly to worry about 30 minute cardio sessions but after so much trial and error I find it's best I ask than waste time or hinder my progress. Ya know? Thank you all for your input.

The only time I ever felt like I was hungry 24/7 was when I was not eating enough.

Everyday in the mornings. Unless I went off the deep end the day before, then I'd rather not know.

I would ask your doctor what she meant. Someone mentioned thinking their doctor wants them at a certain weight so they'll depend on them for blood pressure meds and I would've thought that way too had I not worked at a doctors office (receptionist). Most of the time the doctor hopes they never see you again! Ha.

I take a protein shake. Mainly because I hate drinking it, so I force myself to do so after work which happens to be when I'm on my way to the gym. Going on an empty stomach is awful IMO so the shake helps.

Sorry I worded it wrong in my post, I have been tracking since January following a pretty basic lifting routine I found on BB.com. I have only been on strong curves for 2 weeks, but loving it because it's very different than anything else I've done. To answer someone else's question, I have hired trainers two times. The…
