I honestly don't think it's possible now that I've seen pictures of women with flat bellies or with a 6 pack show themselves unflexed. However, I don't use that as an excuse not to try to get to that flat belly area :)

Increase in appetite the week before... loss of appetite during the actual week of my period... weight gain regardless. I can normally manage the hunger spike pretty well! It's my thoughts that I need to constantly tell to chill out.

You're already at an ok weight for your height.

This is awesome. Especially since you are healthy from the inside out. Way to go!

You look awesome!

For me, personally, it helps to drink loads of water the next day. No specific reason other than the sluggishness goes away faster. Then, I reevaluate my goals, make sure I'm being smart about all this. However, I can normally tell when I'm getting weak (mentally) and will schedule a day where I eat at maintenance or a…

I used my Polar 360 watch to track calories burned during gym sessions.

Can't advice you on the thoughts for sugar alcohols (to me, it doesn't really matter) but I will say you should give it a few more weeks before freaking out. This is coming from a recent experience I had with a weight stall.

I don't get those remarks anymore, but I used to from my husband. I finally sat down with him and told him how I felt and that I know we have a difference of opinions when it comes to dieting (he eats clean, I track) but I'd love to hear more support than judgmental remarks. He totally got it, and though sometimes he cant…

I like it more than regular milk.

Do both. Stay consistent with your diet.

I can have all the power in the world in front of candy, chocolate, cake, ice cream, etc. But put me in front of a bag of Hot Cheetos and I become so very weak. Eating only one serving is sad to me (personally) and usually does nothing to my craving. So I normally schedule a whole bag of them on reefed days or days where I…

I think the last few of you missed my response lol but yes I agree, the high wasted pants were a mistake. But that's what I had on when I took the first picture and didn't put much thought to what I was wearing.

Slow and steady. I've learned not to rely on motivation. I need to wake up everyday and want it enough to stick with the plan. Eat at a deficit, find a workout program or hobby you'll enjoy, and track your progress!

Just want to come back to this and say that all I needed to do was be patient. A week after making this post (and also continuing to be consisted with my plan) I'm now at 140.4lbs! Thank you all for the tough love.

Thank you all. I'm buying the resistance bands on Amazon today. I do have the assisted pull up machine at my gym but I'd rather do this with my body only with only minimal help... although the rest time suggestion does make me want to try it again. I only ever gave myself a 1min rest time between sets! So maybe that's why…

I'm 5ft 7in and currently weigh 141.8lbs (as of this morning!!!) My goal weight is 135 lbs. I was able to get down to 146ish lbs with logging and exercising and eating more than I should of on weekends but in August I decided it was time to get serious about losing the last 10 lbs. I started a 12 week cut and let me tell…

I eat a lot of fruit and one serving of veggies (cause health) so I count it and honestly if I didn't I'd probably eat an extra candy bar or something thinking I have calories left when in reality I don't. That's not fair to myself.

Exactly what I was going to say.

Right, I was losing in the beginning but from the 31st to now I've slowly been gaining. I probably freaked out a bit when I compared the first two pics because I swear on everything I don't see a positive difference. But I'll keep on going and will make myself chill out. Thank you guys for your honesty! It's exactly what I…

I've been lifting for about 4 years now but have never been consistent with my diet. Just enough to stay at a healthy range or gain and lose the same 10 pounds. If this is me being impatient trust me, that's totally fine with me! My fear was that the scale and progress pictures are my only form of progress (I do not trust…

You look great! Oh, and GO STEELERS!

Look up easy 5 ingredient crock pot recipes. They are a God send. Good luck!

I second Pure Protein.

Honestly, the thing that's worked for me have been two methods: 1. Losing weight slowly (.5lb per week) in order to enjoy the foods I like a little more. Although even then I'd tend to over do it over the weekend so after a while it stopped working and I was just spinning my wheels. 2. Cut and bulk cycles. Currently on a…

Low calorie drink helps me make it to my 11:30 PM lunch break. I like the Crystal Light packets.

First place honestly are my legs. It's very frustrating seeing as how that's the one place I wish I wouldn't lose the most. Also, maybe my face? Idk. I feel like I look sick if I lose too much but then if you see my little belly pouch you'd realize that I'm not starving myself.

That's awesome! and gives me hope honestly. I noticed that my bum isn't sagging or anything like that which is awesome. Does anyone have any ideas on how to incorporate SC in a split strength training routine?
