I tried intuitive eating for a few months and I was able to maintain my weight. There were only a few times I bindged and I was able to bounce back quickly. The only issues is that if I tried to get down to a certain size or cut, it was impossible (for me) to do so! I say calorie/macro counting is great when it's time to…

Honestly, I don't really care about my weight. I was confused about where to post this because of that fact.. but the group mentioned body building so I thought maybe this was the way to go! The calculator forced me to state a goal weight so I put 140, but if I get to my goals I don't really care what my weight is. Hope…

My goal is to lean out. Currently cutting. I like super sets but I don't think I can do those. My gym is always very packed and it's hard to use two machines at once. I love high volume but man I also love lifting super heavy. I usually try to do a lot of drop downs to incorporate both.

I do. I don't guesstimate unless I have no other choice (mainly when we go to unknown restaurants which isn't often). Even if I know it won't be a lot of calories (ex. Handful of carrots) I make sure to weigh and log.

I hate cardio so incredibly much but my body loves it, so I do both. I spend wayyyy more time on my lifts though.

I love them. But for $3 a bar I try to have them only when I crave them.

Eating at a deficit and making sure I hit my protein goals daily. Don't care about carbs and fats.

My husband and I have different methods of dieting. He has a lot of self control and is able to be on a 'clean' diet for long periods of times. He understands that I need to count in order to stay on track. He didn't get it at first, but after a year of going off and on counting calories he has noticed that this is what…

I'm not an expert but I feel like I know the basics. Eat at a surplus to bulk (more than maintenance calories) Eat at a defecit (less than surplus calories) I've seen people do both for a few months. Really depends on how much muscle you are trying to gain/fat you are trying to lose.

Thank you all. The only method of dieting that has ever given me real results has been calorie counting. I'm hoping this time around it works and I'm able to do it in a healthy way. We'll see!

My goal is not so much a number but I want to see my abs. I know that loving a healthy lifestyle is not about that... But I've NEVER seen my abs and I really really want to. No pics yet... But I'll get there soon.
