I am on a low carb diet. As of last weigh-in, I had lost 14 lbs after dieting for 27 days. I prob won't check my weight again until next week. Would love to add friends!

I noticed that a couple of my skinny jeggings were actually busted at the inseams. Boy, the lengths I was going to in order to lie to myself! I am only 13 lbs down, but I might walk into a store to see if I can fit a 10 instead of a 12...just to get a general guide of how close I am.

I just realized I was stuffing my size 12 body into size 6 albeit "stretchy" clothing. I keep asking myself when did become a 12? Most of my clothes have elastic in the waist because I hate pants and skirts that zip and button. So maybe the elastic just...stretched with me. Boy do I feel duped!

I prefer not to eat processed foods unless I am in a real pinch. I dabbled with Atkins ready-to-go dinners, etc. I do much better when I cook my own foods and veggies.

I find that I have to have a certain amount of protein to keep full. The more carbs I have, the more I crave them. I don't have cravings like that anymore.

Thanks for the info. Yes, I agree with your side note :) I actually had lost 110 lbs a few years ago. Mostly water weight in the first 2 weeks, but a steady 2ish lbs a week thereafter. My carbs aren't super low...although I aim to keep it under 100g a day. On the other hand, I don't think I could eat enough food in a day…
