I would like to get back to fitness boxing but I am not ready to go to a gym yet. I wish I had a heavy bag. I have all of the other equipment for a home gym though. I sometimes follow YouTube videos of boxing classes. I haven't jumped rope this year!

I have met the best friends/supporters/sisters at my boot camp and through walking and hiking with Girl Trek. I am doing things I never thought I would like and I have met people I would never have connected with if not for exercise.

i have been known to have brussel sprouts and fish for breakfast or a black bean burger. i had a trainer that said if it was good enough for dinner then it should be good enough for breakfast. eat whatever you enjoy eating! good luck!

would a boxing class be considered "cardio" or "strength" or neither? Please be nice in your answers LOL! I signed up for this class for one year and I need to go 3 times a week to get my money's worth. I find it hard to weight train right now because I am so freaking sore. So I am wondering what I call this? TIA

i can see the tops of my thighs sitting down and standing up lol. the lowre stomach is shrinking!! and the senior directors sent a spokesman to ask what I was doing to lose weight. :)

I think it depends on the size of the gym and the area you are in. I LOVE the 2 Planet Fitness gyms that I frequent. They actually have up to 150 pound dumb bells but i do not need them. kombucha is terrible!!! but i hate coconut water more!! it tastes like breast milk mixed with fruit punch. i actually spit when it touched my mouth. and i agree that raw kale is horrible but i like it cooked. I also cannot eat scrambled egg whites. the texture in my mouth makes me gag.

starting is hard but keeping up with it is the hardest. don't try to do too much. drink more water, eat out less, cut back on junk and move more for a while until you get more motivated. then find an exercise you really love and is fun and different, like boxing or marital arts or swimming. so it feels more like play than…
