My motivation comes from wanting to be better at my sport/martial art. It drives my whole fitness plan. If your heart truly isn't in what you are doing, find the thing that you can really get excited about. When you do that, the dedication will be there for you.

Hi, I've been doing stronglifts for the last two months and I love it.
-
I'm 4'11, I use 1100 for a base on rest days, go up from there based on which exercises I do. I'm steady losing 1 to 1 1/2 per week. I prioritize protein and fiber macros. It does take a little discipline.

Sorry about your accident.

Put your stats and goals into the food tracker, it will tell you how much you should be eating. You may have to tweek it a bit until you get the results you want. Start a heavy lifting program like Starting Strength, Strong Curves, or Strong Lifts. I'm 4'11 and do Strong Lifts.

I'm sorry for your losses and the tough road you have walked lately. There is a group for people who have had EDs on MFP. You will likely find the support you need there as well as build friends that understand you.

Gaining muscle and losing fat while maintaining weight

I'm 4'11. I started at 147 and am currently 138. I'm looking to lose about 20 more, and then begin recomp.

You can still work out your upper body, or maybe swim. Other than that, change your food log settings so you will be in a deficit.
-
Are you eating back all of your exercise calories? I just had a small stall where I was eating back a few too many. I've tapered back a bit and started losing again.
-
I've always enjoyed a lot of healthy stuff. I'm just eating less of the junky stuff.
-
A little less internet time.

Mom is very wise. You are a true inspiration.

What do you mean by shifts, work? Where is your food being prepared now? As for eating less, you just get used to it. Decreasing your weight loss goals may help you to transition. Why is it that you have no time to exercise? I'm not trying to be mean, but the first thing you need to lose are all the excuses.

the time spent cleaning is Gothchics hour of activity.

I feel the same way right now. I'm just trying to trust the process.

On stronglift days, I go as early in the day as I can. They have fans going and it's not bad. On Krav days, hot building, one fan, instructors still want full effort, just deal with it. I might get an extra water break.

To lose weight, you have to eat less than you burn. It's important to log all your calories and eat at a deficit. You can start with eating what you normally eat, just a little less of it. Try some new things. I think it can be hard to ask for help because then we have to admit to another human being that we need help.…

Congratulations, that was a very nice goal.

I fit my cornbread into my calories cause I'm not gonna give it up forever. Southern cooking rules.
