Don't be discouraged. Your in a good place..you won't have to do (or be able to do) 100's of push-ups or squats at a time to get any benefit from bodyweight exercises like I have to do ; )

Positively! I've been weight lifting for 20yrs and I still do bodyweight calisthenics at home.

Just get some cheap adjustable dumbbells like THESE and you can make them what you want.

For me an "easy jog" is 6mph where as a "race-pace run" is about 8mph, full out "sprint" is 10/11mph

It's my contention (as well as others) that it will make your lower back weak as you come to rely on it more and more but that's just an opinion and not an experience, it ultimately boils down to personal choice.

If your lower lumbar region starts hurting your rounding your back. Start with lighter weight to get the form/movement down and gradually increase the poundage. Remember to keep your head in line with your spine while your eyes are looking up and forward, and don't wear a belt!

It was 47bpm when I awoke 2hrs ago, did some light activities around the house and now it's 50bpm.
