Breaking it up into smaller chunks isn't a bad thing. Just try to aim to improve every smaller chunk a little bit. It will soon turn into longer chunks. Just push yourself a little more each time.

What's up my dude? Carb avoider here too. My body loves carbs, it is highly efficient at using carbs to keep me at points not where the scale doesn't move if I'm careful, and will move way up if I'm not careful. I'll join you on your meat and fat quest!

I've recently dived into roasts. I bought myself a pressure cooker and can have a basic roast cooked up in about 40 mins cook time, and it comes out very tender. I'll usually pair it with some mixed veggies or if I'm totally lazy just plain old roast. Or it makes some good sandwiches with a bit of salt and mayo.

Hello! I'm on day 2 of nearly the same thing, although I'm probably more towards the Keto paleo end. I do need to get some more fruits and veggies in. Yeah, The only thing that seems to work for me is going low carb, I don't know what it is about carbs, but it's so easy for me to over eat when they are involved. I never really crave them, but they offer zero satiety to me, and I'm a bottomless pit when it comes to them.
