Mornings are frantic in our house because we have to get our daughter to school by 7:40, so on week days it's cereal, toast, toaster waffles, or English muffin with vegetarian breakfast sausage or an egg with fruit. And coffee. All the coffee.

Most Amy's meals are less than 500 calories and are much more satisfying. Lean Cuisines aren't nutrient rich at all. I'd be tempted to go with Amy's, or supplement your Lean Cuisine with a side salad or some extra steamed veggies.

I am NOT one of those moms who just loses weight breastfeeding. My 8 month old takes solids but still nurses several times a day so I'm trying 1600 calories a day and adding an extra 250 for nursing. I'm also eating my exercise calories back. We will see how it goes!

What's your daily calorie goal? Before subtracting the 200 breastfeeding calories?

How did 1500 work for you? I have an 8 month old who nurses but takes solids. I was thinking about trying 1800, and eat back what I burn exercising.
