Many people have complex thoughts on this subject, but many seem to be around 50% eat rate or so. I don't bother with the math though. I let the scale tell me what to do. I'm in. For 8 weeks now I've been waking up at 4am to run c25k 3 days a week, but I want to do more on rest days. Not sure about the timing though, being off work for 10 days, I might sleep in until 6 :D

Don't be discouraged. I'm going to assume that the 145.5 was WAY off. Was it the same scale, time of day, same conditions -> "sickness pays off". I'd suggest that sickness scewed the numbers. You're 0.2lbs down, despite having been sick :)

Probably water weight. I used to think I gained 2-3lbs every weekend. Once I drank the same amount of water on weekends, my weight has been consistent.
