I used to jump rope a lot and doing it for 30 minutes is difficult. Doing it for 60 minutes would be extremely difficult. My old routine would sometimes last 25-35 minutes and that was interval based and taking 60 second breaks.

Was told today, "You are like the incredible shrinking man" :) Checked my BMI and it has dropped from 31 to 28. Need to drop another 24 lbs to have a normal BMI rating. Need to lose another 33 lbs to reach my goal weight so still have a long ways to go.

Never heard of golfers elbow but good to know. I play golf and do not have pain when swinging. The pain is on the outside and hurts pulling upwards. Upright rows, lateral raises and picking up weights to put on the bar. What is ART? Sleeves? Never heard of voodoo flossing and will check it out. Appreciate the tips :)

Do you vary your pace? Incline? Maybe add some 30-60 second all out sprints for variety? FWIW I do the majority of my cardio outside of the gym because the treadmill can be so boring.

Lifting with tennis elbow is a pain. Pulling upwards or lateral motion can be painful and limits how much weight I can use. Wearing a tennis elbow strap does not seem to help. Any tips?

Is a big back for you meaning wide? Or thick? Lat pulls downs, rows, and bent over side lat pulls will give a wide back without doing pull ups. You are new to lifting so your main goals should gaining strength, eating right and getting enough rest. If you do those 3 things well you will gain strength and size. In addition you will have a much better understanding how your body reponds.

GVT has proven you can get stronger with lighter weight. IMO it is silly to think there is only 1 way to get stronger.

What type of workout are you doing? High voulme with less weight? Low reps and more weight?

I strength train 4 days a week and cardio on the weekends. Monday: chest and biceps Tuesday: back and triceps Wednesday: rest Thursday: legs Friday: shoulders and traps Saturday: cardio (walk jog sprints) Sunday: cardio (walk jog sprints)

No idea what Zumba is but I do not like classes for myself. I hit the weights and do the vast majority of my cardio outside of the gym.
