The portions and instructions are in the video linked below :) I made my own pizza sauce, used a different pan and my own ingredients but none of that should matter. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hixPQprtAUc

If by that you mean eat food to fuel your workouts. lalalalal...

It does matter though. Especially when people want to submit articles/studies stating performance is impacted. Since this thread is specific to working out and gaining muscle, if a keto adapted person does not run out of energy after 60-75 minutes of intense strength training then what is the concern?
-
Performance is subjective to the individual and any test or set of tests can be skewed. What exactly is considered high intensity? Above a certain heart rate? And for a certain amount of time? When endurance is considered then at what distances? Or is it strength over time? So many factors that are very specific to the…

For the keto person, fat is their primary energy source. So however the body uses its fuel and the calorie surplus is the same, then why does it matter if the primary source is fat or carbs?

IMO Jason's 4k results is an edge case. There were other people that did the 4k cal keto diet and gained weight.
-
What is optimal? Obviously that is very subjective to an individual. Especially when it comes to performance. All that data can easily be slanted towards a specific outcome. Food fuels the body. Eat enough to fuel your workout and you will either gain, maintain or lose weight depending on your goals. Eat and grind.

I do not think it would be that difficult to bulk with keto or consuming 3k+ calories. Curious why you think it could possibly be painful?
-
Eat enough food to fuel your workouts and you will build muscle. Is there some reason this basic principle does not apply to keto?
-
It is definitely possible to gain muscle on the keto diet. Watch your macros, be consistent and grind.

Shirataki noodles rinsed in water and then soaked in soy sauce (removes the pungent smell). Pan fried with olive oil, sriracha, eggs, bacon and topped with fresh chopped mint leaves.

I did :) It was a mini deep dish. Think the pan is 6" or 7" which is perfect for a personal pizza :)

Deep dish meatizza! Sorry about the poor quality pictures. Definitely tasty, though not the best looking dish. Think Italian meat ball for the crust :) Crust is ground turkey, few different seasonings, 1 egg, tbsp coconut flour. Filled with pepperoni, salami, parmesan and mozzarella cheese.

Yep. It comes down to the individual as all diets should.

Try to get stronger with volume. Either add 1-2 reps or add another set.

I have been following ketoish diet for 2+ years and have made gains in the gym. I run Spartan Races. I workout fasted. It is possible and is sustainable. There is a lot of n=1 opinions in this thread (including mine) but to say it is not good or possible or sustainable is not true.
-
Too bad I cannot change the thread title. Maybe I should start a new one? Anyway, hit my goal weight :) And then changed it to another 10 lbs. Need to keep grinding.
